Looks interesting!

I've got a character in a game that doesn't look like it's going to get going anytime soon I can put on hold...so this is a possibility.

Am I the first one here, or has anyone else pitched a concept yet?

I have two games coming to a close and would like to request a spot here.
Specifically I would like to try my hand at an elven TW or perhaps a Lyn Techno Wizard

I am looking to join too. Just been thinking up a simvan. Basically he will be the local scout with his giant creature in tow

Have two characters waiting in the wings.
1: Lyn-Srial Cyber Knight with some persuasion and good knowledge of battle, pure up front fighter. Refuses missile weapons of any kind.
2: Shaintar Orc Crazy, mostly combat, some scouting.

Happy to tweak skills to fit the adventuring area, or come up with other concepts if someone has their heart set on either of those frameworks.

Burster

More detailed, a mobile artillery piece. Fires the rough of equivalent of mini-missiles 3x per turn. Ignites everything.

Probably the opposite of someone who should be anywhere near a base that's under construction.

That dissonance is something I look forward to exploring. :)

I think I have 5ep now. If so, can I use a character slot to play in this? Thinking of a PsiGhost for r.c.c.

Have you made an account for Ashley yet? Let me know when you do, so I can change over her bio form and add her to the group.

Hey, Just curious if you got room for a grackletooth rougue scholar named Dr. Danlack? or a Juicer named Mr. Marvin? Mr. Marvin would be a good face.

Lies! Mr. Marvin eats people!

Also, Vik "the Dick" Donnager is done, except for his background, which starts with a wild night in Amsterdam and ends in Arkansas, with stops along the way in the NGR, the Colorado Baronies and Atlantis.

I'm almost finished with the Lyn-Srial Cyber-Knight. Just need to tweak hindrances and post a background, but that'll be my official submission. Looks like Mr. Marvin has persuasion covered, as long as we're not talking to Simvan. The L-S will be a good backup for sure. Can't have too much persuasion when you're negotiating deals.

Gave Ashley Logan permissions and removed Deezy (so you aren't getting double PMs). Switched Ashley's bio from Deezy's account to Ashley's.

FYI: Ashley's avatar wasn't working.

If there are problems, let me know and I will try and fix things. Or someone better at all this than me can.

That will change all your past Gargamel posts, though. I would probably make a new one, unless you don't care, I guess. Not sure what the policy on that it.

I think usually it is to make a new account. Drust/Dan the gm for the bc should be moving gman to the fallen heroes.

I noticed a lot of the players are from BC. Are we transferring in character XP from retired character or are you having us all start off as baseline (5 experience)?

I know the board allows the transfer from retired and fallen characters. But want to know your preference and what others are doing.

My preference is for new characters. We're already going to be very powerful, with sig items and a bunch of experienced powergamers that know the system :D I've only GM'd once for newbs.

I like it! Let me know if you want me to drop the sig item. It is more about getting him to the flavor of Juicer I want to play and is not crucial for me to have as I can still rp the flavor. Also feel free to hit me up in hangouts if you need help with rules questions or what not.

Vik is all done, with a final power swap (Fly instead of Smite). Let me know if his trappings are okay - most are pretty standard for the site, but I did something new on his Mega Fly power.

Looks fine to me. Question: on the knockback, do they take damage if they hit anything? That's what they do with the Martial Arts school from Deadlands I mentioned. 1d6 damage if they hit an inanimate object, I think? I would have to go look it up. Though that might be too powerful for a trapping. As written is good.

No damage. It's a powered-down version of Havoc, and I was trying to keep it simple, as well.

101st SET

Ashley - 5 XP | 2.40 PPW | 3 EP
Charlemagne - 7 XP | 1.80 PPW | 2 EP
Karsk - 5 XP | 1.70 PPW | 2 EP
Marvin/Nazo - 7 XP | 2.30 PPW | 3 EP
Vik - 6 XP | 2.30 PPW | 3 EP
Thomas - 6 XP | 3.20 PPW | 3 EP
Brianna - 3 XP | 0.80 PPW | EP
Leonard - 5 XP | 2.10 PPW | 3 EP

@KahlessNestor

Once at a ley line how many sun stones can Thomas create in a day? Each casting takes about 10 minutes, but he is lazy so 5 castings per hour. He would likely work for 7 hours.
His success rate should be 81.25%.
Statistically this would work out to him being able to make an average of 28.5 sun stones for handing out.

Are you okay with just using fiat and saying he makes 28 stones and returns with Karsk to hand out stone to the refuges who need them?

PS: Obviously he will make a big scene about how awesome and selfless he is for handing them out. And of course keep one for himself.

I still need info on what kind of Specialty Libraries you guys want. You get 6. They start at Starter (-1). Each additional library can either add a new library at -1 or add +1 to an existing library, up to +4. Ryder has chosen Repair for his Specialty Library. Or you could add to the general Starter Library up to +4 (this would apply only to Investigation as opposed to a Knowledge roll).
For clarity Thomas chose Knowledge Arcana as the skill to be buffed. Maybe he stumbled across a bunch of lost scripts from H.P. Lovecraft.

Ash can't read; she has no idea what any of these things are.

Maybe like, scenic books. Maps, atlases...bonuses to survival or Geography skills?

Here are the stats for the two enchanted magic rings. They are the same. Decide if anyone wants them. If not, they will be sent on to Castle Refuge to be locked in the vault. These do register as evil, and could result in the corruption of your character.

Enchanted item (all powers use Arcane Skill or Spirit)
  • Rings of Mondain: These plain bone rings are filled with dark, corruptive necromantic magic.
    • Major Mod: Healing power
      • Trappings: Besides the normal use of Healing, this item can also do the following
        • Necromantic Touch: On a successful Touch Attack (Fighting +2), make a roll for Spellcasting (Healing). Target takes that many Wounds and you heal that many Wounds
        • Life Transfer: As a free action, the round after you are incapacitated you may make a Spellcasting (Healing) roll, including Wound penalties. On a successful roll, the nearest living being within Spirit range must make a Vigor roll against Fatigue as the ring steals their life energy to heal you.
    • Major Mod: Serves as Necromantic Focus and Phylactery for a necromancer
    • Major Hindrance: Corruption: Each time you use this item, you must make a Spirit roll against Corruption. If you fail, you receive a point of Corruption. This results in a penalty to future Spirit rolls against Corruption. Once you have received Corruption equal to half your Spirit die, your character gives in to the darkness and becomes an evil NPC under the control of the GM.
    • Minor Hindrance: This item registers as evil to spiritual senses.

Thomas would be very interested in keeping these awesome rings. But, that does not necessarily make sense as he was hit with greater slumber and could not fight the whole encounter. Which aligned perfectly with me being overloaded at the end of last year.

Does anyone else have interest in these rings?
