    • Gabbers is old really old. He often appears slouched or asleep, as his armor is a bit too heavy for him. His years of strength and vitality are long past. -die type to strength and vigor, min d4, -1 pace, +5 smart based skills

    • He thinks he is famous. Often times he thanks people for showing up to meet him(when in fact they were just passing by). He announces his comings and goings to entire rooms. He always has a pen at the ready for his adorimg public.

    • He is a talker. Give him enough time and he will break your ear off with a prerift tale his pappy used to tell him. Fighting some kind of beast? He will launch into a tale where he fought either something related or something completely unrelated.

Trappings: Bending physics. The character is able to run so fast can bend the laws of physics by running up walls, and ceilings per the wall walker power (½ pace). . This effect takes the place of the raise effect for speed. If the speed power ends or is disrupted the character may take appropriate falling damage if they are in the middle of a physics defying movement.
Details: Pace is doubled. Raise is the wall walker ability described above. Mega: Pace is tripled, max run die, attacks are -2 to hit, does not stack with deflection take the higher benefit.

    Name:GABBERLEAF, Sayeen, Telien
    Date of Birth: July 4th year 14. Starting Date is August 1, 104

    A bit about him:
    Sir Gabbersleaf has had a long life, but his indomitable spirit will not let him rest. He often appears slouched or asleep, as his armor is a bit too heavy for him. His years of strength and vitality are long past, but his mind is quick. He has developed amazing psychic powers and studied historical battles. Even though he often seems to not pay attention his focus in great. After the war of Tolkeen he has used his knowledge of survival to help refugees find sanctuary at castle refuge.

    His father raised him and would often tell him about the world that was. The two travelled quite a bit around North America. When he was 20 he became a Cyber knight, 30 years later his father passed away. His father would have been about 70.

    A bit about his parents:
    After the rifts first formed killing so many and more rifts opening allowing demons and monsters to slay even more, a group of elves from the realm of Arcadia ventured forth. These elves were curious about the magic convergence happening on Rifts Earth. The elves were split on helping or observing. Near their outpost was A small town in the now federation of magic under attack from monsters Sayeen's mother led a group of elves in secret to help the town. While successful her group was banished and altered the elves council's decision (which was leaning to aiding) to observation only. Having been banished she spent much of her time in the town with a young human man named Markin. In less than a year she gave birth to a boy, naming him Sayeen Gabbersleaf.
    Personal Anecdote



    "Watch out for the “bugs” out here…” Mumbled Sir Sayeen Gabberleaf. He spoke softly but there was a hard edge to his words that seemed to convey importance. His voice trailed off as his head slumped down. Soft snoring could be heard from behind his helmed face plate. One of the other passengers in the back of the vehicle stretched wide grasping at the flowing air as their vehicle zoomed across the country side.
    He appraised Gabberleaf and snorted, “ So much for having a cyber knight with us, these mosquitoes ain’t too much trouble…” He slapped his forearm squishing one of the blood suckers emphasising his point. The others in the back exchanged worried looks.
    “Calick common he is a Cyber Knight, he’ll get us to safety,” Plead a red headed kid no more than nine years old. His bravado was betrayed by his white knuckled hands clutching his mothers. Calick swung his hand down to swat another pesky mosquito. Splat!
    “Whoo a jucy one,” Exclaimed Calick wiping his had on his pants. Gabbers stirred slightly, and pulled up his visor. Steely green eyes shown encircled by bags, crags, and sags that could only belong to someone who had lived long enough to laugh, love, and cry decades on end. Wisps of his spindly white beard could be just made out from the lowest portion of the porthole. He watched Calick continue to wipe the bug off and looked into the sky which was filling rapidly with mosquito’s. With great effort Sir Gabberleaf rapped on the window of the cabin. It slid open.
    “Wadda want?” Roared the driver over the whipping wind.
    Gabberleaf sighed drawing in his strength before he roared back at the driver “We had better stop.”
    The driver yelled back with annoyance, “What old man?”
    Sir Gabberleaf struggled to pull himself on to his feet. The red head kid came over and helped him up. With the extra help Gabberleaf obtained his footing balancing against the swaying of the vehicle.
    “Kid after I get out, pull the canopy down and leave it down until I get back.” He looked over the cab and saw coming in from the north east of them a gigantic black mosquito.
    With haste and force not yet experienced during the 3 day journey he quickly yelled at the Driver, “Stop!!”
    The vehicle slid to an abrupt halt nearly tumbling over. A terrible shadow overtook them. The red head kid looked into the eyes of Sir Gabberleaf. Electricity arced behind his eyes. Suddenly the cyber knight was encased in a blue field of crackling electricity which deflected the massive amount of bugs swarming around. The Cyber Knight's armor seemed to get more massive and was covered with a tough silver sheen. Just before he slammed his visor shut, the red head kid saw his face better fill in the helm, his eyes no longer were as frail looking, his cheeks no longer cracking and pot marked, but full of vigor.
    In a voice unblemished by old age he told the kid, “Remember the canopy…”
    A gleaming orange and silver maul formed in his hand, “Keep it shut until I return.”
    He dove from the car moving faster than any person say for a juicer, but after a few steps the surrounding darkness was drawn to him making him difficult to see, and even the fastest of juicers would have been hard pressed to keep up with him.
    From under the relative safety of the enclosed canopy the 5 passengers huddled in fear. They could hear the jears of Sir Sayeen Gabberleaf seemingly taunting a tremendous foe…
    “Oh monstrous of all suckers, will I bleed for thou, What will I bleed if I have none left to give. Where will you bleed if I stand atop the mountain of apex? What have you foe, come stab at me!”
    Amidst the incredible buzzing of wings the passangers wondered what in the world could Sir Gabberleaf be talking too? The sky darkened as the swarm started to blot out the sun.
    Gabberleaf’s ranting continued, “ What ho! Darken the sky beasty, you are set against Sir Sayeen Gabberleaf, the elder Half Elf! Eldest and oldest, but blessed by my mother’s and hers’ of Arcadia. I see you!”
    A monstrous cry echoed forth, something like a bee’s wings amplified by a loudspeaker cranked up well passed the safety limits. Another beastly cry of painful memory echoed forth, and then the beating of wings went deathly silent.Moments later the canopy was lifted up, and for two seconds Sir Gabberleaf seemed to be both holding the canopy up and standing a few paces away from the vehicle caught in mid stride. Both images were blurry and difficult to make out. A good 60 feet behind the cyber knight was the gigantic mosquito its head caved in as if hit with a wrecking ball.
    Gabberleaf lifted his helm revealing a glorious sight of a protector in his prime shining with heroism, vigor, and unbridled power. That imaged was fleeting as if a dream of decades past. Instead slumped sweaty an old man of labored breathing and not enough strength to crawl back into his seat. Yet a cyber knight nonetheless was he, quickly the passengers helped the old man who was already fast asleep into his seat and buckled him. Calick was mindful not to squash any more bugs for the remainder of their journey to Castle Refuge.
