Re: Corinthi (Grackle Tooth MARS)
Background
As Grackle Tooths go, Corinthi ain’t no spring chicken. His chinbeard is streaked with grey, and his leathery hide shows the scars of a hundred different battles. Like many of his race, he was drawn to adventure and warfare. Most of his training was gained in the field, as part of the Black Banner Brigade, a mercenary company specializing in anti-xitixic operations.
After years of smashing bugs with middling success, he decided it was time to settle down and start a hutch. He found himself a stout Grackle lady named Tahsiban and moved to Tolkeen, where he found work as a general laboror/construction worker. Grackles tended to be looked down upon for their lack of magical abilities, but everyone needs someone to take out the trash or help erect a mage’s tower.
Life in Tolkeen was good, if unfulfilling. Corinthi found himself participating in underground boxing and training with the militia just to get a little of the old rush. Then, the Coalition came a’ knockin’. Tahsiban and Corinthi were assigned to a elite squad dedicated to hunting down and taking out psi-stalker and dog boy scouts.
The War in Tolkeen didn’t go well. Both sides of the war got blacker and blacker, with heavy casualties and growing desperation. Their squad began shrinking, not just from battle mishaps, but soldiers were transferred away from the fighting for ‘special duties’. Eventually, the Grackle Tooth couple learned that their comrades were used as sacrifices to summon demons.
By that point, it was clear that the city couldn’t withstand the Siege, and even if it did, it wasn’t any sort of place to raise a family. So, they escaped with a number of other like minded souls, making their way to Arkansas and joining with the founders of the Tomorrow Legion. Tahsiban has all but lost her taste for combat, owing to some bad wounds the pair both sustained in Tolkeen, but she recognizes that need for action still burns in her husband.
So, with his wife’s blessing, Corinthi heads out into the world, trying his best to protect the week and make Earth a safer place for the next generation.

-
- Cyber Resistant: Grackles cannot take any Iconic Framework that includes cybernetics as an inherent ability (including the bio-comp system needed to be a Juicer), nor may they roll on the Cybernetics benefits table.
- Distinctive D-Bee: With their monstrous appearance and powerful frames, Grackles face prejudice. They suffer −4 Charisma with CS citizens.
- Issues With Cold: Grackles don’t enjoy the cold. They suffer −4 to resist cold environment effects and take +4 damage from cold-based attacks.
- “Just How I Was Raised”: Grackles have the Heroic or Overconfiden Hindrance for no additional points (the other may be chosen as normal).
- Natural Weapons: Grackles do Str+d6 damage with their bite, claws, or tail slap.
- Powerful: Grackles start with Strength d8 (Trait maximum d12+2) and Vigor d6 (Trait maximum d12+1).
- Prehensile Tail: A Grackle’s tail can hold most melee weapons and pistols, granting an extra non-movement action per round at no multi-action penalty.
- Restricted Paths: A Grackle Tooth has no capacity for magic or psionics. They cannot take any Arcane Background using PPE or ISP, nor any Iconic Framework that includes it.
- “Stuff Ain’t Built for Me”: A Grackle Tooth’s unique physiology and proportions make it difficult for him to find armor he can use. Purchases and repairs are at least tripled in cost, and there’s no way he can manage a Glitter Boy suit or any other power armor built for a normal-sized humanoid frame. He also suffers a −2 to any checks made to operate a vehicle or its weapons not refitted for his race. Any gear gained from an Iconic Framework is assumed to be custom-built for the character.
- Size +2: Grackles run eight to 10 feet tall and weigh from 600–800 lbs. Their size grants them +2 Toughness.

Looking good,
I don't see any dice roller code on those Hero's Journey rolls.
Did you use the site dice roller?

Re: Corinthi (Grackle Tooth MARS)
Okay,
All looks good. A lot of skill points!
Also, this fellow will be tough in melee combat.
Have you been following the adventure? How would you like to be integrated? The simplest way is to do the same thing we did for our new cyberknight.
