Is there a rule that requires we only make a single post between each GM post? Perhaps this makes sense in combat, but outside of combat it seems to be more likely to slow things down than help keep them organized.

I know I tripped across it while making the character but is there an easy to find guide for how to actually do the code side of dice rolls for the forum? I know which dice need rolling but how do I make that actually happen inside a post?

If this were in the house rules thread I would have already found it but it seems to be hidden somewhere else so I figured I would ask.

It talks about it here but the link appears to be dead. Not sure if this is a remnant of the site issues last month. I have PMed VV about it.

In short type {dice}1d6{/dice} but replace the {} with [] and you get [dice]0[/dice].
You can also do simple modifiers by putting them with the "d" such as [dice]1[/dice].

I am still working out how to roll two separate types of die, such as 1d6+1d8, in one {dice} command. When I try just putting them in there together I get [dice]1d6+1d8[/dice].

Apologies for the long quiet all. I've been having a lot of trouble with Deezy in my own head lately...and was taking the low road of just pushing the problem of dealing with it all further and further down the road while I focused on other things. Putting it off, at the expense of the game. I am really sorry that I did that. It wasn't premeditated or anything...it snuck up on me, until I realized holy cow...it's been a long time since I posted! That's bad.

So! I'm going to do some housecleaning, and get my shizz together here.

First of all! I'm going to make a Workshop thread. This will be the place where folks can post what they want TW'ed up, so I can keep track of it all easily and keep up with costs and time spent doing so. Right now it's all scattered in game posts and keeping it straight was a headache and...yeah. Fixing it now!

Second! I'd like to request permission for a slight revision of Deezy's design. It's a small thing, but basically I'd like to buy Rapid Recharge with a Hindrance instead of Mr Fixit. Then I'd like to buy Mr Fixit with the 5xp Advance and Power Points with the 10xp Advance. I built Deezy like a noob, ya see. :) If this is not okay, it's not a huge deal, I can work with it. It'd just make moving forward easier.

    • Plasma damage (MD): Hits target all at once, 1d6 (6) catches on fire dealing 1d10 damage until doused
  • 3 garlic and wolfsbane necklaces: -2 to be bit while wearing them, and if uses them to create a barrier vampire must make a spirit roll to pass.
  • UV Flashlight, not usable as a light source, but capable of damaging vampires in a cone template. Agility roll -2 to avoid it. Vampires that are completely covered with clothing are immune to the attack. Damage: 2d6, 1d6 (6) to catch fire. 30 uses before battery is drained, 4lbs.
Cyberknight Vampire Bag
This black duffle bears the crest of a cyberknight, it contains a plasma pistol and a verity of other items.
  • Plasma Pistol, modified Tx-5 pump pistol: Range: 8/16/32, Damage: 2d6+1, ROF: 1, shots: 5, 5lbs.

Roll 1d6 on the below table twice to determine extra gear:
  • 1) UV Grenades (3 total): 5/10/20, Damage: sunlight 2d10, medium burst template, 2lbs each ( Roll Twice, select 3 grenades from SR or this list)
    • These deal no damage to creatures not harmed by sunlight, but can be used to shake, agility roll -2 or be shaken.
  • 2) Super Soaker: 3/6/9, 2d10 vs vamps, RoF: 1, 5 shots, 4lbs. ( If Rolled Twice +2 range and damage)
  • 3) Hidden wooden stake vambraces (worn as a pair). These vambraces are spring loaded and well suited to catch vampires and other foes by surprise. (If rolled twice stakes are silvered vibro daggers, STR+d6 MD, silvered)
    • +2 to hit vs shaken targets ( first attack only)
    • Made of pure wood, so +4 damage vs vampires, normal damage is str+d4
  • 4) Garlic cloud grenade ( 3 Total): Made from powdered garlic it creates a cloud of garlic infused mist in a medium burst template. Vampires must make a spirit roll to remain in the cloud or enter it, and even if they do they are -2 to attack anyone while in the area. Range: 5/10/15, medium burst template, duration: 3 rounds ( If rolled twice, add 3 grenades of choice from SR or this list)
