Using a giant vibro sword one handed seems powerful but I can't think of a mechanical reason that makes it powerful. Weird. VV It's not huge on its own, the oomph comes from the off-hand. I'm inclined to treat the two-handed-as-one-handed as a Seasoned Edge (thus 40K), but otherwise it looks good.
(The closest I found in a cursory search was the Monkey Grip Edge from Suzerein, which is a Novice Edge that has the downside of lowering the effective strength by a die-type.)

Part of my idea was that I could get a jump on those Edges in my build and wouldn't have to worry about them later. Is that not a good way to do it? Why wouldn't I get the benefit of them? Weird Science uses 'straight' Power Points--neither PPE nor ISP. (TLPG Pg 120). And Powers in created items always default to either an Arcane Skill, a non-Arcane Skill (if built that way), or Spirit.

So as Minors, "5 PPt internal storage, +1 to activation rolls for Powers" certainly works nicely. You do have to declare what the Skill is for activation of the Powers. Default would be either Weird Science or Spirit, but for something like this, I could see Electronics as an alternative.

Fairly straightforward--approved. I do have a question--is the idea that the Stun and Entangle Powers are activated as part of the standard attack, based off the Fighting roll? I guess a lot of it depend on how long the campaign is meant to run. For a one-shot, the rules should have very few unintended consequences, and it should be fairly minimized in a relatively short arc (say, one year). But after that, there'll be shifts in power.

Re: Lightning Crystal for Goswin Aigner
The wand, at least, should experience the "enchanted equivalent of tech gear" price mark-up of 50% (so, giving it a final value of 33K). Also, how did you acquire the wand? Taking the weapon as part of your starting gear?

At Heroic, they have fewer slots--two major, two minor. But they don't suffer from Technical Difficulties because they aren't mechanical or electronic in nature.

Note: That's me. Some folks are okay with a wider interpretation of the Skill Bonus and Edge rules--if your GM is in that camp, I won't argue against it.

Re: The Psychic Magic 8 Ball (Sig Item)
The channeling edge is cool, but its benefits are somewhat outweighed by the increased cost to activate the device. Edges no longer add to the activation cost of Items, so Channeling is pretty useful. That said, i think that, like the bonus to Psionics, it would be limited to just the Divination Po...

Re: The Psychic Magic 8 Ball (Sig Item)
I like it! The Psionics Skill boost should only be for using Divination Power, but the Occult Skill boost works as a general boost, since you're consulting the 8-Ball when making the roll.

Bugged: Life in the Quarantine Zone (All Jokers)
At the end of the day, you're all able to touch base with one another and talk over events, vent about problems, or brag about moments of brilliance. Okay, this is for the whole group. In addition to casual role-play and thus, post-count bumping, you can also write Interludes here to get a benny, wi...

When you indicate a preference for joining the SIT, you're quietly ushered into another office. Police Chief Lowell Grant enters a few minutes later. "We're being a little discrete about this because we don't want vigilante mobs forming. But as non-residents, you may be able to ask questions wh...

Quarantine Enforcement Brigade (Growler, Jacob, Chok'lat, Sara): You are brought to a large room filled with other volunteers. Police Chief Lowell Grant is clearly relieved to see Tomorrow Legion veterans among the volunteer brigade. "Simply put, people, we're trying to keep the lid on here, wi...

Bugged: Lab Rat (Roy)
Roy is ushered into a room at City Hall, where a medical lab has been set up. A host of technological equipment has been set up, including a Psi-Scanner to track his PPE levels. The lab has an airlock-like entrance zone that blasts persons passing through it with a disinfectant spray. Outside that c...

Tribe; The Enchanted/TW confusion arises from the word "enchanted" in the first line of orange text. Totally down with a TW bow, yes.

Re: Scepter of Veils
Without access to Mega Modifiers (which can only be accessed by burning another Major Slot), I'm not sure, precisely, what you could manage to do with Shadow Manipulation. Going by the other element examples: Conjure a small area of shadow about a foot on one side. Stretch or shrink an existing shad...

Re: PBP Dragons
The thing to remember is that the new version also allows you to spend your points as you earn them. So you start with (most likely) a Novice Edge, then you pick up an extra skill point along with the next Advance, and again the Advance after that. Compared to waiting nine months to get anything, th...

As the group largely make up their minds to go and see about helping out, they move to City Hall as a group. As they move through the streets, they see there's already small clusters of people complaining about the embargo. They also see some angry folks near the gate closest to the Monolith, shouti...
