Peter watched the craft from the port window. The only reason he wasn’t panicking at the mere glimpse out the window was because the water in his canteen burned a little as it went down. what the higher ups didn’t know wouldn’t hurt him. “True, but a small camp of a few men is much harder to spot than an entire settlement, and if the need arises is much more mobile. It could also in theory station it’s self even deeper into their territory. Also for triangulation to be effective we need to be at two fixed points anyways
