Psi-Blades are automatically MD, though. And since you need Master Psionic as a prerequisite, any Psi-Blade wielder will have Greater Smite, which the can trap as they like. True. However, it may be a generic ruling made with an eye towards future/variant content. For instance, the psi-warrior PCC ...

Re: Knockdown Rounds (Bean Bag and BigBore Weapons)

Pender's proposal (damage +2 Push) yields the first number; the initial proposal yields the second. I've ignored Acing because math makes my head hurt and the cheat-sheet I used to use is locked away in the Pinnacle Forums, and likewise ignored the +1d6 from a Shooting Raise since it would map the s...

I will note that this gives an item that otherwise functions as a piece of TW gear a major advantage. Being immune to any sort of technical difficulties at all puts this on the level of rune items. Ultimately that is Corrigan's call, but I can't see why anyone else would not want their patron item t...

The rule of thumb is "Is it a tank? It has MDC. Is it capable of taking out a tank? It does Mega-Damage." The flavor text above seems to move away from 'should be potentially dangerous to a tank' territory, and that's where my suggestion came from, but I may have misread the intent. If it'...

Prequel: Beanbag rounds seem solid. Everything that follows is Big Bore rounds (which I like the idea of; this is all just gut-reaction/first thoughts type-stuff). First off, an edit: Second paragraph of Big Bore Rounds carried over the "damage only from the Push maneuver" clause from the ...

Come to think of it, Cyberknight starting gear includes a silver cross and wooden stakes. They wouldn't need that if their sword could seal the deal. the good news is that I wasn;t 100% sure, so I had made the psi-sword MD in that fight - and it wouldn't be a huge retcon to say that Lucretia tapped...

What is the difference between Summon and Relative Sumon? The relative values are based on the average Rifts character being about 40 points or 20 advances above a Novice. Given that no other spells get a similar upgrade I would not suggest it for summons either. Masters get Force Multiplication.

Unless there's an official ruling counter to that, I think you're reading the RAW correctly, here--Psi-Sword with Mega Damage activated does normal damage, up to Incapacitation. And yeah, called shot to the head doing instant-decapitation if it also incapacitates the vampire makes sense. Also, note ...

Tricky Fighter and Dirty Fighter make for a nice combo. Dirty Fighter just gives you a straight-up +2 bonus to Tricks. Dumb question. Why did you drop your own spirit in order to raise Jude's? Is that a function of the gauntlets having to do both at the same time?
