The 6th Arcane Anomaly Team aka the Goblin Corps
- Commander DrustBackground and Commander Drust: The Goblin Corps is comprised of non human D-Bee's who are loyal to the Legion. The Legion's 6th AAT (Arcane Anomaly Team) aka the Goblin Corps, is under direct command of a Blood Ogre named Drust. Elle of Owls has taken to calling the Ogre, Commander Drust, since he does not wish an actual rank to be assigned to him. Drust is roughly 50 years old, his first 35 years of age were spent in a warband on a far off world in another dimension. Having clawed and killed his way to General of a Blood Ogre army, under command of a Necromancer Prince, Drust, after arriving on Rifts Earth doesn't wish to be a General of an army now that he is free of that old life. Drust studied magic in Tolkeen and was part of the Tolkeen-CS wars. While in Tolkeen the Blood Ogre worked as a guard to the King and furthered his own magical knowledge until the war started and he joined in the battle. It is said that Drust is one of a small few who know what actually happened to King Creed, King of Tolkeen, when the CS conquered the City State and razzed it to the ground. After a run in with Lord Coake, shortly after the final battle in Tolkeen, Drust started Adventuring with the Cyber Knight. After arriving at Castle Refuge with Lord Coake, Drust took over to a AAT on Lord Coake’s suggestion and Elle of Owls order. Refusing rank, he accepts he over sees, as a Commander, the newly formed 6th AAT. Drust is often recognized by other Legion members who were in Tolkeen as the King’s friend and guard. He has no plans on Adventuring outward with the 6th, not until be recovers from the magically incurred injuries he sustained anyway. It is whispered he suffers a curse which no one at the Castle can isolate or cure, yet. Another rumor is he allowed the curse to be cast upon him in order to forget King Creeds whereabouts. At times the ingenious, sorcerer warrior and commander, drifts off and becomes unfocused. He is aware of these issues and feels like he would be a danger to work with in the field, thus he runs the 6th AAT.
Staff Sergeant MagithaSecond in command of the AAT is a younger female Orc, born on Rifts Earth, who is around 24 years of age. Magitha (Mags) is a expert archer and Ley Line Walker. She has limited combat time and was schooled in the arts of Line Walking in Lazlo. Quite often Mags holds AAT briefings and acts as Executive Commander for Drust when the seven foot tall blood ogre is in a state of drifting off. Mags almost looks to Drust as a father figure and she is very smart, a excellent mage and will one day either take over the 6th AAT or likely form her own new team. She is content for now being second. For the time being she is Staff, not a Field Operative.
What is a AAT: Ley Line Walkers and Techno-Wizards are most likely assigned to lead such teams, which also include scholars who specialize in occult matters and the cosmology of ley lines and Rifts. Such teams are sent to explore the ley lines, Rifts, and other related matters. They also look for artifacts and arcane resources that are as yet unused or in the wrong hands. The 6th AAT is like all the other AATs, except that it just so happens to be comprised of all non humans. Thus some one nicknamed it the Goblin Corps, and the name stuck. The 6th AAT is made up of two Sections. Section 1 is comprised of purely Staff personnel. Section 2 are field agents of the AAT. They are the ones who, not only investigate, research, but also travel beyond the castle walls to retrieve items, research on site at dangerous locations and investigate all manner of magic or mystic incidents.

Typical Classes of those assigned to an AAT: Shifter, Ley Line Walker, Techno Wizard, Mystic, Body Fixer, City Rat, Operator, Psi Operator, Rogue Scholar, Vagabond, Wilderness Scouts, and others (with GM approval).
AAT Specialized Training:
Members of the AAT start out as new Characters (I.F. or M.A.R.S. with the typical +5 PbP XP) however are given a crash course in both magic and staying alive in the dangerous world of Rifts Earth, learning how to work as a team under pressure. - Every member of the AAT starts with a Kn:Arcane d4 or can add a free die type to their Kn:Arcane skill if they start with the skill. After being excepted into the AAT a intensive month long "schooling" is attended. This is not necessarily what all AATs do, but Drust insisted each member of the GC spend the time being instructed on matters of the arcane by Mags.
- Additionally each member of the AAT can pick either: d4 (or +1 die type) to Fighting or Shooting. Again, Drust wants to make sure the members are up to snuff on staying alive in a fire fight, during times when hunting down a magic artifact becomes dangerous, or while investigating a Rift/Nexus point the CS attacks the team, for merely being non human.
Races of the 6th AAT: For fun, and theme, Player Characters for the AAT can be, D'Norr Devilmen D-Bee's, Lyn Siral D-Bee's, Simvan D-Bee's, Psi Stalker D-Bee's, Shaintar Races (with approval from GM), and GM Approved D-Bee's (From Rifts Books or Custom created).
