So looks like I was confused about things.

I had assumed most of the players missed my request for you to be rangers, or one of the other groups, but it turns out I was wrong.
Please answer the poll.

Also GM, I thought you wanted everyone to join for this mission but, not actually be a member of the Rangers. I know 2 of us were actual Rangers and the rest were temporary members or members in training? That's what I got out of the original recruitment post.

Update: I found the post I was thinking of and maybe this is where some people thought they joined and others were just filling in

As a group of young adventurers you have had some successes and you are between jobs right now, with funds running a little lower than you would like. Word of your activities has made it back to one of the recruiters for Grayson’s Grey Rangers. A highly reputable group of trouble shooters who frequently serve the people and rulers of the Southern Kingdoms.
Danyar and Lysennia were contacted two night ago and asked to meet Frank here at the tavern in the morning. He is interested in recruiting your companions and if they are not willing to fully help, he hopes they will at least help with a few missions while things are so busy. In exchange for meeting him here in town the cost of the rooms and meals are being covered.

Can I pick two options.
I feel Lysennia's backstory Tues her to the rangers, but she also note has her new oath to follow the four paths.

However, I was thinking that we started out as not rangers but this would be our fist initiation.

The Adventure series is intended to be Ranger recruitment and new Rangers.

Tier is actually a Dark Lantern working for the Rangers (kind of a trial basis following fellow secret Dark Lantern Bradon)

So far it actually looks like everyone did take an obligation.

Voted 2, but I always felt Angis was more somewhere between 2 and 3. He's fairly mercenary. I think he's done work for Grayson's Greys in the past, a job helping out here or there, filling in a team for some coin when needed. So maybe "Ranger adjacent". But he's definitely open for a more steady gig right now, as he's unemployed for the moment. And if the rest of the team become Rangers, he might be willing to sign up.

If your character is a ranger and you would like to you can exchange your starting gear for the following. (You still keep your weapons and armor.)
