Re: GM Poll Q3 2019
I voted 4 mostly because I felt the chase took to long.
It was simply grinding away after the third time, but it carried on into this q.
Everything else is great, and I live seeing the linked elements of stories I love from off site

Not particularly his fault, as it was the first time (to my knowledge) that anyone on-site tried the chase system. By the listed standards for voting, he did just fine.
In Effect:
Wounds: 0
Bennies: 1
Heightened Senses: +2 Perception, Night Vision
Uncanny Reflexes

The chase scene needs to be looked at. I think it is more mechanics than anything else but it seemed to drag on. Would be happy to revisit the mechanics just to refine it for future use.

I ran a chase on roll20 and ended it early because it was like pulling teeth miserable.Sgt 86Delta wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 10:44 am The chase scene needs to be looked at. The system itself is too much. It requires both GM and All players know their characters really well, know the chase rules really well and be ready to go. I think the speed at which they where changing the rules during the kickstarter is reflected in its end condition and complexity.

Re: GM Poll Q3 2019
Instead of giving every individual a card, do it by the chase cards. A group of bads on the same chase card all get to act on the same drawn initiative card. Initiaitive cards are then affected by the sum total of the group (Quick. Level Headed, Improved Level Headed).RFT wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 11:01 amI ran a chase on roll20 and ended it early because it was like pulling teeth miserable.Sgt 86Delta wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 10:44 am The chase scene needs to be looked at. As a melee character and a tank, I felt more inclined to deal with the bads then run.
Might have been better if it were mandatory to run each round and anyone overtaken by the bads was instantly captured.

Re: GM Poll Q3 2019
That was kind of the intent of the scene (you're teens vs armed guards, basically naked). I suppose it wasn't communicated clearly enough. Using Action to run gives you +2, also, so that was incentive. But I can understand wanting to use cool powers, too (like the force wall). But given the paramaters (open forest) it might not have made narrative sense (I tried to accommodate it as best I could).

I do have some real feedback.
These threads are too long.
I think it is better if you consider breaking them into scenes. Currently we have an entire adventure (what feels like two episodes of a TV show) in one thread.
