Can you spin a great yarn, are you constantly wishing other people would hurry up and post so you can get to telling more stories? Well here is you chance.

Introducing the Savage Rifts Writing Contest, you can earn EP and DrivethruRPG.com Credits for writing up some awesome story and sharing it with your friends.

I know you are excited, so here are some bullets cover the requirements and rewards.

• Story must be a minimum of 5,000 words (measured by me using copy and paste in to MS Word).
• Story must include a player character from the site. (Edit: Active, inactive, or dead are all acceptable. But must have been played in a game.)
• Story must include either hindrances, tragedy, loss or defeat for the character. (Does not have to be the end result, but let's show the mortality as well as the awesome.)
• Story must be completed by 23:59 PST December 31st.
• Questions can go here, but the STORIES MUST BE SUBMITTED AT THE FOLLOWING LINK: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3363

Rewards

• 1st place will receive 5 EP and a $20 coupon for DrivethruRPG.com or RPGnow.com
• 2nd Place will receive 3 EP and a $10 coupon for DrivethruRPG.com or RPGnow.com
• 3rd Place will receive 2 EP and a $10 coupon for DrivethruRPG.com or RPGnow.com
• All qualified participants will receive 1 EP. (See above for minimum requirements.)

Judging
Judging will be done by site voting using primary accounts. Each site primary account will be allowed 3 votes. The top five entries will then be selected and I will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place from those.

This is relevant to my interests. Legit question though: Minimum is 5000 words, but does this site have a maximum limit on post size?

Last site was 64,000 characters which amounts to about 12,800 words. (I believe word uses 4 characters average per word with 1 character for spacing). @Tiree or @Venatus Vinco could tell us what the forum character limit is now.

Desperately hoping I will get more interest that only a single player.

@RFT It's a 60,000 character limit
