The arrival of two newcomers finds Xiang napping in the rafters of the inns patio. He'd come into town to inform the team of the departure of Khar-Loez. He'd had a vision that lead to him needing to return to his tribe, something the werecat could understand and respect. Normally he'd have gone back to the camp afterwards but the inn keeper had given the "nice gato" some tasty scraps so he'd taken a nap before vacating the stink of the town.
Dropping to the floor with a thump, he then gives a leisurely stretch and yawn before circling the new arrivals inquisitively sniffing at them. The big one stank of dragons and looked like he'd be fun to fight and the little one smelled a bit like magic, but not quite, and a lot like spirits but not quite the way his tribes spirit talker smelled. Something somewhere between the two that the werecat had never encountered. Stopping at Splash he paws at the water a bit then reaches out with his mind.
"Greetings water spirit. That is a strange couple of pets you have. .... Oh only the little one is yours."
He's about to take his leave and return to the truck when the team actually sets out to do something. Glad to be in action, even if it is in the filthy streets of the city he wordlessly pads along with the group to find Serivals budding contact.
They find the guy, once again in a bad situation and Xiang sighs audibly when admonished against "unnecessary" bloodshed. Climbing to the rooftops he works to get a birds eye view of the incipient fracas and spot any flankers who may set things off from the fringes.
Unfortunately he is distracted by a very large iguana and he spends several minutes stalking it before he remembers they're actually there for a reason and he belatedly returns to the task at hand.
