Appearance

5 ft 4 in tall red-haired girl who looks to be in her late teens, perhaps early twenties at a push.

Bio

Morri, and her twin sister, were both born in Limerick, Ireland. Though when they were still quite young, the twins would end up moving across the Irish Sea to England after their father joined the British military in hope of better prospects than its Irish counterpart. The girls still periodically return to Ireland to visit grandparents, and other relatives, during the school holidays in addition to living in various parts of the British Isles. Both girls frequently got into trouble at school for pulling pranks, though they (just barely) managed to achieve above average grades when it came to sitting exams.

I just noticed you still do not have a Faction Edge.

You do not require one, but it is super useful.

Depending on your point of view, it was either stupidity late or god awfully early.

Morri couldn't quite make up her mind on the matter, either way she didn't particularly relish the prospect of travelling for the next day or so to get home to the British Isles. They'd been visiting family in the States and her father was now driving the hire car to the airport to catch their connecting flight to the east coast airport for the British Airways flight home. With another hour's worth of driving still ahead of them, Morri had taken the opportunity to snooze but even with the radio turned down she found it hard to completely nod off. Though her sister Morgana, Morg for short, appeared to have no such trouble much to Morri's envy.

Suddenly their father cursed loudly.

The brakes screeched and the car swerved as their father wrestled with the steering wheel, their mother screamed before a sickening thump was heard and the car came to a standstill. They sat for a moment with the engine ticking over and the radio still playing, Morri and her sister exchanged looks but were too shaken to say anything. After a moment or two, their father muttered about possibly hitting something and climbed out of the car to investigate. Their mother tried giving them a reassuring smile, which rapidly turned to a frown when a cry rang out. Alarm bells started ringing in Morri's head and she went to warn her mother as she started opening her door, an instant later something slammed into the side of the car and shoved it across the road.

Before she'd even realise what she was doing, Morri found herself out of the car and running across the road. She couldn't quite explain it but she felt an urge compelling her to do so, something in her being was making her do whatever she was doing. She pulled up short as...something lunged out of the darkness and then strangely faltered for a moment with a puzzled look upon it's face. The creature appeared to shrink as a curious and weird feeling overcame Morri, she felt....different and her perception of the world had seemingly shifted.

Morri felt a boiling rage inside of her as she strode forward, the creature scrabbling back in surprise as Morri barred her teeth and flashed her claws. A deep growl sounded in her throat before she leapt forward and anything went black as a red mist descended....

Morri awoke.

She was laying in a field, her clothes dirtied and torn. She was splattered from head to foot with what she presumed, she hoped, was mud. The eastern sky was beginning to lighten as the night began to yield to the forthcoming dawn, the pale blue sky backlighting a few fluffy clouds. She became aware of some people clustered round her, though there was something about them that she couldn't quite place her finger on. Though as she stirred, she heard one of them muttered. "Christ, this one's alive."

"Best get you some place safe." The voice continued as Morri felt a number of hands help her up and half-carry her to a van waiting on a nearby road. Try as she might she couldn't see any sign of her family or the hire car, plus she found that no words would come to her and her head felt like a boiling cauldron of confusion and bafflement.

Requirements: Boon

Your character may spend one minute observing the signs and flows of nature. After doing so roll a Notice to activate the divination power without spending power points. The character occasionally gains incites from casual observations even when not attempting to.

As an additional benefit this edge grants access to the Jack of All Trades edge without requiring Smarts d10.
