SWADE! Blarghlwarghlbbqsauceasdflkajsdf
But, not until the final version is released. There are so many changes going into v2 that it's crazy. Once the "final" version is released and sent to the printer / PDFs are available to buy, I say lets DO IT!!

Re: Jump to SWADE?
I didn't spot a ton of changes...there were a few, but seemed more like tweaks and clarifications than big alterations.
What did I miss?

Re: Jump to SWADE?
Yeah, from Shane's responses I thought they were adding a lot of the "Clarifications" into the PDF, but they didn't.
Most changes are minor.
Edit: The new Soldier Edge, which stacks with Brawny, in addition to Weapon and Armor encumbrance rule additions were pretty badass, though.
The weight of worn and wielded equipment (I'm assuming this only applies if you meet minimum strength requirements) is not tallied into your maximum encumbrance. Only carried gear, when dramatically important.
Soldier increases your die type for worn armor and wielded weapons which stacks with Brawny's increase to die type for wielded weapons. So you could have a d6 warrior with Soldier and Brawny Edges farting around in Plate + Chain/Leather swinging Great Axes/Swords dealing d6+d10 damage. That'd normally be at 2d6, and encumbered to the extreme.
There was some other cool stuff too, but all in all nothing huge dropped.

Re: Jump to SWADE?
We are missing one vote. So I will start working on updating all the races and the setting book this weekend. As always i will be open to feedback, but I think most of my custom setting/table rules will be easily replaced by new ones direct from the book.
But we will not start moving forward until we have unanimous support. I am not in favor of forcing anyone.

Re: Jump to SWADE?
Okay,
Start working up your conversions we will go to SWADE as soon as the next PDF is released (Which I think will likely be the final version for print).
As usual we will audit each others characters because others are not in the game.
I will start working on the update in the Setting Document.
The only "RED FLAG" change I am predicting is I would like to edit Werewolf invulnerability to match a Copy and Paste from Palladium.
I am interested in opinions (especially from Derrick and Lys) on this.

FOR CLARIFICATION, I do not like the double damage and would not use it in the game.

Re: Jump to SWADE?
As posted in HO Chat; I'm fine with whatever changes you feel are appropriate.
I think magic/psionics deal normal damage but can wound, and Silver deals +2 or +4 damage is a good starting spot.
I'm even ok with the allergy bit if you wanted to go there, but I think wolfbane might be strange to affect all lycans.

Re: Jump to SWADE?
I’m game. I think it makes sense to be vulnerable to more things.
Re: Jump to SWADE?
Voted.
For starters I do not have access to SWADE, but I intend on getting as soonas it is available to the public.
Next, it has been several years since SWDE was published and edits and tweaks are necessary. I do not know the rules like many others do but I am ready to embrace the on coming changes.

Re: Jump to SWADE?
Personally, if I were doing it, would simply make them "heavy damage" creatures, so that other supernatural creatures (as they inflict heavy damage) can hurt them, and their vulnerabilities, but normal weapons can not.
Morphus Form: Charisma -4, Pace 6, Parry 8, Toughness: 10
