Background

Post by David »

David was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, a nice tourist city on the east coast of the United States. He was the youngest of 3 children, the oldest being Lisa and the middle child Mary. His father was a front desk manager of one of the many hotels on the strip and his mother was a real estate agent.

Growing up was normal. Him and his sibling had their littel squabbles here and there but, for the most part got along and all supported each other. All three were into sports, Lisa was on the Volleyball and Basketball teams, Mary was on the Swim and Softball teams and David, he was only interested in Baseball. Academically all three were equal and they all helped each other when needed.

During his Junior year in High School, David became a Basic EMT and at 17 joined the local Volunteer Ambulance squad. He enjoyed helping others and when not studying or playing baseball, he was always down at the Squad waiting for the next call.

Towards the middle of his senior year, David really got serious about looking for Grants or Loans to help pay for his college. He had watched NCIS, CSI, CSI Miami and other police shows where a CSI officer helped solve a case. He wanted to be a CSI. After talking with numerouls colleges and counselors, his dreams seemed to be too far of a stretch. Either he didn't have the grades for the better colleges or the money just wasn't there until that day in March.

While in the school library, he noticed a table set up, with a grey haird man in a cowboy hat and suit sitting behind it. On the banner in front showed a large Ravens head with ETU on it. Curious, David approached and asked as to what the ETU stood for. That was the day David applied for and shortly after received his acceptance and Baseball Scholarship to East Texas University.
