Don’t get me wrong, my life has been pretty good. My mom dropped me off at the orphange 3 months after I was born so she could tour the world and write about it. My dad is the biggest boss in Lazlo and just gave an outstanding proclamation declaring the Xictic a scourge that has to be wipped off from the face of the earth. But to look at me you would never know... I am half the size of a human, and certainly not a dragon in disguise like my dad. Nothing pleases me more than to read mom’s books or transcripts of pops council meetings. I got lucky that the Tomorrow Legion needed another historian after Iasaih Comstock lost a pair of rubies called the eyes of Rah... Did he loose them or did I nick them from that wannabe? I am not telling, although perhaps I am because here is a whopper of a tale...
Framework
Rogue Scholar:
Dedicated to uncovering the mysteries and truths of the past, Rogue Scholars risk worse than censure at the hands of the Coalition and others who refuse to see things beyond their view. This also covers the Rogue Scientist concept, simply select the appropriate Knowledge skills.
  • Begin with +5 skill points.
  • Begin with any two Knowledge skills at d8 and the Scholar Edge.

Half- Human (the other half is dragon)
This half human is not a halfling out of some popular fantasy trilogy. He is in fact a half sized human that has gained slight advantages from his special parentage.
  • Dadies Dragon sized luck: draw one additional Benny per game session. This may be combined with the Luck and Great Luck Edges.
  • Short: average only about 4' tall. This gives them a Size of –1 and subtracts 1 from their Toughness.
  • Mom’s human Spirit: Generally optimistic and willful beings. They start with a d6 Spirit instead of a d4.

Edges
  • Scholar: Pick any two Knowledge skills the Scholar has a d8 or better in. Add +2 to your total whenever these skills are used. History and Battle.
  • Investigator: Investigators add +2 to Investigation and Streetwise rolls, as well as Notice rolls made to search through evidence.
  • Charismatic: This adds +2 to his Charisma.
  • I know a guy: Once per session, the player can invoke this Edge to effectively have the Connections Edge with any person or group. Use the rules for Connections to determine if the contact can be reached, and if he will help in any way. If the attempt to contact a particular person fails, the once-per-session use of this Edge is not used up; failures on the Persuasion check to get help still trigger that session's use of the Edge.
  • Nerves of Steel: Your hero has learned to fight on through the most intense pain. He may ignore 1 point of wound penalties.
  • Danger Sense: Anytime he's about to be the victim of a surprise attack, ambush, or other nasty surprise, he gets a Notice roll at –2 just before the attack or event occurs. If successful, the character knows something is about to happen and may take appropriate action against it. This means the hero is on Hold for the first round of a combat. Should the hero fail his roll, he still follows the normal Surprise rules, if applicable (see page 73).
  • Brave: Either way, your hero adds +2 to Fear tests. If the character is in a setting that uses Guts as a Setting Rule, it adds to that as well.
  • Theif: Thieves add +2 to Climbing, Lockpick, Stealth, as well as Notice or Repair rolls that relate to traps and similar devices. The bonus to Stealth does not apply when the character is in a wilderness environment—only in urban areas.
  • Scrounger: A Scrounger can make a Streetwise check, once per session, in any city or large town (−2 in smaller urban areas) to accomplish one of the following:[list]

[*]Attractive: It's no secret that beautiful people have an easier time getting their way in life. This Edge grants your beautiful or handsome character +2 to Charisma.
[*]Level headed: A hero with this Edge draws an additional Action Card in combat and acts on the best of the draw.
[*]Improved Level headed: As above but the hero draws 3 cards.
[*]Mcgyver: This character can improvise something when the need for a tool arises. He suffers no negative penalties on Trait rolls for lack of equipment in most situations. In addition, given a few simple tools, props, or devices, he can generally rig devices to help escape from death-traps, weapons to match some bizarre need, or otherwise create something that's needed when such a thing isn't actually present. The extent of this is completely up to the Game Master, but creativity should be rewarded, particularly in dire situations where few other answers are possible.

Item Name: Moriarti’s Magnyfying Glass
Sensor Suite: Optical, chemical, motion, and other active sensors ignore illumination penalties and add +2 to Notice rolls made to detect designated types of targets such as biological beings, chemical signatures, metal, etc. The targets do not have to be visible, though dense materials may cause inaccurate or false readings at the GM's discretion. Small sets are handheld and have a range of 50 yards.
Sunlight Burn(3):
  • Decay (4) Trappings: Rust, corrosion, rot, acid. This truly terrible power destroys matter. Each full round spent in contact with a substance destroys 10 pounds of matter. Harming living beings requires a Touch Attack. If successful, victims must make a Vigor roll or suffer a wound. Extremely thick clothing (up to Armor +1) absorbs a wound the first time the character is hit (unless circumvented via a Called Shot), and Armor +2 or more absorbs two. After that, the clothing or armor is effectively ruined.
  • Strong (1pt): Vigor -2
  • Limitation: limitation requires sunlight -2
  • Total cost 2pts.
  • Trapping, with a successful touch attack the lens can catch the rays of the sun to devistating effect.
Penatrating beam(1):
  • Focus +3, Focus (+3): By taking no other actions (including movement), the super may bypass and ignore the Armor of inanimate objects and vehicles (not people or the armor they wear). If a super with this ability attacks a tank with a Toughness of 77 (60), for example, he ignores the 60 points of Armor and attacks its base Toughness of 17.
  • Modifiers:
    • Limitation: only works with laser beams -2
  • Total cost: 1 pt.
  • trapping, with a successful repair roll the lens of the magnifying glass can be put over a laser weapon giving it incredible penatrating power.
Revealing Lens(2):
  • Awareness 3pt. Your hero ignores any and all obscurement penalties (darkness, fog, invisibility, etc). Cover penalties for solid objects still apply normally.
  • Modifier: Requires activation(-1). This power is not always on and requires the hero to look through the lens.

Sherlock Scan(2):
  • Heightened Senses
    • Perception: The hero has a highly developed sense of detection. He adds +2 to Notice and Investigation rolls made to find clues or notice details.
  • Modifier: x-ray( lead blocks)(+2): Your hero has a special sense (smell, hearing, x-ray vision, bioelectrical sensors, etc) that allows him to perceive through solid objects and even other characters. As an action, he may make a Notice roll at –4 through up to six feet of almost any material (see below). If attacking a target through an object (see Obstacles in Savage Worlds), he suffers the same –4 penalty to his attack roll as well as the standard multiple action penalty. Finally, each version of this power has some relatively common material (or situation) that blocks it, such as lead for x-ray vision, overpowering scents for an incredible sense of smell, or extreme noise for super hearing.

Hello,

Character concept looks good.

Couple of small items. You listed "Charisma: 0" in your stats but it should be "Charisma: +2" due to the Charismatic edge.

Maybe lose the red text, it burns my eyes.

Sig item, if you decide to go for it, looks good to me. Probably needs to go to item validation. If you're still have super tech anxiety then maybe try an enchanted item instead. A magic magnifying glass from daddy or "skilfully acquired" somewhere along the way.
