Mechanized Mayhem Mercenaries were founded by a man named Colonel Wilhelm. He came from across the Atlantic, from the New German Republic. He came with a significant number of Triax military power armor and robots along with personnel trained in their use. Arriving on the east coast. While rich in terms of military hardware, the team was otherwise humble in existence, not having nearly the resources or reputation it has today.

Early in Colonel Wilhelm's exploits, 3M had been contract to fight a group of demons, it was during this battle that he met his wife Lady Agnes, a beautiful, but deadly, young cyber-knight. Her altruistic nature, bolstered the companies reputation immensely and the jobs and pay days continued to grow. As they travel west, they recruited from local towns and villages, testing the young men and women to find those who had the potential to properly use the amazing Triax equipment they had at their disposal.

It's unclear as to how Colonel Wilhelm originally obtained their signature gear that his company uses, but it's obvious that he still has connections to Triax and the NGR. He and his original troops never speak of why they came to America or what they left behind except in vague terms.

The CS/Tolkeen war is what provided the team's current success. While magic was plentiful to the Tolkeenites, military hardware was not. The highly trained troops of the 3M provided Tolkeen a decisive, unexpected edge in numerous battles. It was only in the last part of the campaign, when the overwhelming resources of the Coalition States began to take it's toll, and the leaders of the Tolkeen forces began using dark magic, sacrificing their own people to summon demons and other monstrosities, that Colonel Wilhelm, despite his compassion for the people of Tolkeen could no longer work for them. At Lady Agnes' urging, he severed his agreement with Tolkeen citing a breach of the contracted terms.

Tired of fighting, the Colonel and his wife, decided to take a step back into a more administrative role and let various team members who wanted to depart do so, providing the option to purchase the equipment they had been issued by 3M. Only a small number decided to take him up on the offer, most remained to serve in the company. The Colonel set up a permanent base inside the borders of the Manistique Imperium.

As a mechanized company, 3M is made up of mostly power armor and robots. They have various armored vehicles for transporting and repairing their gear while out in the field. They are famous for their wings of red Predator power armors, the Rotes Raubiters. Most of the other troops are in Terrain Hoppers. Over the years, attrition has taken it's toll, but Colonel Wilhelm's connections through the black market and other means has been able to replace his loses sporadically over the years.
