Background
Like her sisters, Sis was bred to serve the Splugorth slavers. Unlike most of her sisters, she was exposed to an emission of negative energy from a Rift that opened on a scouting mission early in her time serving the Splugorth. That exposure gave her a very unique set of ability to cancel the effects of almost all forms of arcane abilities.
Seeing an advantage they could exploit, the Splugorth changed her training regimen to focus on leading large contingents in battle. Seeing as leaders were often targetted in confrontations by magic users in order to disrupt the chain of command, the Splugorth figured that having one immune to their abilities would provide an unexpected advantage in battle. What they didn’t realize was that the same null energy abilities that protected her from the arcane abilities of others also slowly unravelled the conditioned obedience that was instilled into every one of her sisters.
It wasn’t long before she saw her opportunity to escape. Fleeing the Splugorth hunters and the distrustful eyes of normal society, she bounced around from mercenary band to mercenary band until Sis eventually eventually found the Tomorrow Legion. Unlike the other Merc bands that always kept at least one other person on watch with her at night, the members of the Tomorrow Legion actually seemed to trust her. It was...refreshing.
