1.5 Operation: Cold Slither. (Scouting out the Delvers base)
Finish up here: viewtopic.php?f=298&t=5326&p=69481#p69472 then proceed to this post.
The trip across the frozen wastes of the South Pole is uneventful and cold as a witches t%t in a steel bra.
From about 600 yards away the Disavowed can stay hidden and out of sight behind mounds of snow and rock.
Orn, the tall D-Bee is true to his word. He guides the group to the Delvers base.
Borrowed transportation behind you, covered by white tarps and the dimensional raider base ahead, the Disavowed CS cell team is able to see what looks like four obvious guards out side the complex.
This old world technological military style base is multitiered and over looks a cliff on one side and a heated pool of water on the other side. How the water is heated is unknown for now: natural or tech based?
Two layers of the building can be seen from outside. Likely there are more levels beneath the frozen ground.
The plan?

Shades rides shotgun in the team's new ride. Monitoring the communications Shades pipes up over the intercom, "I can survey the facility. If we can find an access that is minimally observed."
"I can gather the details. Maybe they have a portal or something that they use to travel."
Hefting a few homemade devices, "I could disrupt things a bit from the inside."

Timothy walks up to Reyes, "I say we get some snipers on those four guards. With them out of the way, we would be able to infiltrate. The problem I have is what are we not seeing?" On that note, Timothy switches between all available visual spectrum for any clues of any additional observers not visible to the naked eye.

Looking at the cyborg Richards believes he is right. He is right, a sniper could do all the work that is needed here. "The sniper idea works well. I can hang back and use my curse to enhance the accuracy of the bullets. Then bring both myself and whoever the sniper is to the battle field when needed."
Then looking down he tries to pick up all the information he can, both with his powerful arcane senses and with his optics and human sense.

Juno stayed where she was, slightly hunkered, with the white side of her all-weather cloak turned outward to blend in with the environment even as it took some of the pressure off her armor's environmental controls. Her suit's enhanced optics zoomed in and she marked the guards, the visible entrances, and any irregularities she couldn't identify.
It looked kind of sloppy to her. Not that plinking four simultaneous sniper shots would be easy. And missing even one would be one chance for a guard to radio this in. But still. Where was the patrol? The perimeter?
She adjusted her optics system to thermal and looked around, trying to find hotspots in the bleak antarctic wasteland around the outpost. Her team was using the snow to hide. Why not them?
As she scanned, Juno said, "Klanker, you're the fallback. If the alarm goes up, I want you on standby to hose down everything coming out of that outpost until they figure it out and stop coming. Then you'll lay down suppression while we close in."
"Shades, two questions. Can you turn invisible, and does it mask your heat as well? If you can poke your nose in there, that's good...but only if you can do it without tipping them off."

Sweetie Pie knew the plan... Kill everything that was not human, even then humans that consort with the supernatural were acceptable losses. He was reminded of Llyboc’s parting words when he left the psychostalker program... He whispered, “Kill...”
He would back shades up, going in quiet, under the ramps then climb up taking any sentries into the snow for a quick silent kill. If things went to shit, like they were bound too, he would just kill everything and turn the white to red. Humanity needed to thrive, and these delvers were in the way.

"Anyone got a radio frequency into or out of the facility?"
"Otherwise we need multiple heat sigs and I will slip in under the confusion."

Richards replies back. "I can give you as many as a dozen heat signatures, but it would be tiring. How many do you need?" Calculating in his head exactly how many times he can do such a feat before being left exhausted. Though truly a few moments of exhaustion is a small price to pay for humanity.

Richards notices that out further ahead, between the team and the base, are two small black drones hovering and attempting to remain hidden.
They both look like sensor drones of pretty high tech making.

Richards informs the others of the drones and their relative coordinates. Then to @Shades he says "Okay, we need a plan. Do you want those heat signatures of not?"

Seeing the sensor drones, this causes Timothy some additional concern. "Hey Sarg, if we can capture one of the drones, we might be able to use it to get internal intel and or keep their systems quiet for us to infiltrate."

"I can get into the base through those drones."

Sweety Pie, looked at Shades and Richards wondering which one would die first. I’ll need to make sure Richards survives so I can have a steady food source. The second thing he did was get low, ready to sprint towards the base once the drones were dealt with. When did drones even become a thing? In the good ole days all I had to worry about were humanoid sentries that were tasty. Now there was wifi, and drones almost everywhere. Fraking technology.
