Brody is confused, "First they want us to take them out then they want to question them? Really!? "Im not going to question them, as they are chewing on my arm. Yes Harvey, these Dykeenies, are crazy. They sit back in their armor all safe and protected and they have us do the dirty work there way. I'm glad you stayed."

Over the radios, "If you wanted to talk to them then you should have come forward. OK, we will see which ones are willing to talk. If they try to attack, I'll let my blade talk to them. Oh! sometimes accidents happen, just saying.Yes I told them Harvey. What, OK, Edge and Whispers Harvey says your not a stupid Dykeenies."

Harvey and Brody continue their conversation, "Yes I know these cannabiles are evil people and there are more out there. I would say stay hidden, keep an eye out for them....No don't take your eye out! It means to watch and tell us if anyone comes by and warn us. Harvey thank you for staying."

EAT ME LIKE A CANNIBAL
There is brief conversation. Nomel moves towards the bridge. A bit closer to it now, he might be able to dig in to fire standing on the bridge. Might be able to. As wide as the river is, the Boom Gun can easily lay down fire on the other side. Easy. Chevy and Ulrich stay on station, but ready to move in support if needed. Heavy vehicles and dense forests don't always work so well in combination. Taking to the sky Archie can see the action at the cannibal camp unfold, in a dramatic fashion.

Whisper stays a respectable distance back, maybe figuring discretion is the better part of valor.

Egil moves in closer and is prepared to strike with an illusion or something to fry the brains of his nemesis species feasting away. He even makes a plan. A good plan.

But for a change, he's not the one to dash recklessly into action. Today, that trophy goes to Brody. He was pretty effective. His power scatters the simvan and humans--oh wait, only one human--about the glade. The three are tossed in various directions with a great amount of force. Their flight is interrupted by the thickets surrounding the camp. They strike the trees with great force, knocking the wind out of the victims and leaving them dazed.

The one human looks up and leaps to his feet only to be cut down by Brody's psi-sword. The human cannibal collapses at Brody's feet, nearly cut in half. At this distance, the true depravity and evilness of this "human" is readily apparent. Filed teeth, gashes and wounds cover his face, a finger necklace that looks like it's been idly chewed on. He groans and twitches for a second before laying still.

What are you doing?

Nomel considers dropping anchor right now, but if he guesses the wrong direction, he'll end up taking longer to get into the fight. Better to enhance my ability to tell where any reinforcements are coming from. So rather than triggering the spikes and jets, he simply fuses his awareness with the Glitterboy--really, there's no feeling quite like it. With his senses so attuned, he begins scanning the area more aggressively, attempting to ferret out any sign of trouble greater than four random cannibals. Over his radio, he responds to Brody.

Permanent Effects: +2 to Notice
Egil is conflicted. On one hand, he hates Simvan. They are nothing more than smelly, barbaric, dirty, sum that love rhino-buffalo a little too much. On the other hand, Ulrich wants somebody alive for questioning and Brody already killed the least offensive one of the bunch.

‘Only need one though…’

When the Simvan thrown by Brody’s telekinetic whirlwind lands at the psi-stalker’s feet, it’s all Egil can do to restrain himself from using a plasma grenade--because that’s what Simvan deserved. Instead, he pulls his vibro-sword and plunges it into the cannibal’s throat. The Simvan's eyes go wide and it rolls to avoid the first thrust but the Crazy is too quick with the second attack and the blade plunges through the cannibal's face. A quick twist with the humming blade causes brains and blood to splatter on the surrounding foilage.

"Ugh, they even make a mess when they die."

"Edge to Ulrich. Brody threw one on my sword and it got its face cut off. His fault, not mine. Still a couple left for questioning, though."

Actions
Draw vibro-sword and stab the Simvan. Fighting 1d8-2 = 1: 3
Wild Die 1d6-2 = -1: 1

Split the seconds action: Fighting 1d8 = 4: 4
Wild Die 1d6 = 6: 6 + 1d6 = 5: 5
Going to assume since he is prone and at -2 to Parry that an 11 might be a raise.
Damage: 2d10+1 = 15: 4, 10+ 1d6 = 3: 3+ 1d10 = 10: 10+ 1d10 = 9: 9=37
Even if it wasn't a raise, I think his ancestors felt that one.

Archie swoops down, mist surrounding his target as he approaches. Unfortunately, even dazed and confused, the simvan manages to stumble out of the way, evading the dragon's grasp. From his elevated position Archie is able to survey the area. He sees two ostrasaurus racing towards Egil's current position.

The ultimate result of Egil's attack are not unexpected. But the sheer savagery of the attack, the simvan is virtually sliced in two, would be a bit disturbing if anyone had been near enough to see it. Sensing, smelling, seeing, all his senses work in concert. So Egil is easily able to spot the pair of ostrasaurus racing up along the beach, heading straight towards him.

The simvan Archie narrowly missed starts to stumble back towards the camp, and further off the other one depraved human stumbles out of the woods. They are heading towards Brody's position. The simvan is armed with a large vibro-sword, it is currently struggling to draw it from it's impractical shoulder scabbard. There's a clasp or something on the human attacker's large knife, and he is also struggle to draw it. Could be related to just getting tossed into a copse of trees or, in the simvan's case, nearly being caught up by a dragon.

Nomel picks up what could only be a distress signal on his radio-scanner. It's not immediately met with a reply...what does that mean? That question is answered quickly as four humanoid type beings in ratty armor climb up over the sides of the bridge. Two are positioned to take advantage of the bridge structure. They ave heavy weapons! The other two look like they are about to charge!

Ulrich spots the newcomers on the bridge a split second after Nomel. Seeing such ratty characters employing even rudimentary tactics is slightly worrying. But his caution proved correct. These creatures were waiting to waylay the group as they crossed the bridge, that much is obvious.

The silhouette seems to be lost in the woods for the moment...

Chevy is steadfast in keeping watch over the bridge as well, but isn't sure what to make of this new development.

In the woods, far from lost, Whisper spots the brewing fracas on the bridge and decides the team there could use some support. Not that the ones to the south at the campsite don't...but they seem to be holding their own.

And she'd so hate to have the ATV broken by one of those big, bad weapons these scavengers had managed to get their paws on. That would mean walking.

Even with her darkened goggles on, Whisper was grateful for the cover from the tree canopy overhead. These daylight hours weren't ideal for getting into fights...for her anyway.
Rolls: Greater Slumber 8, 4 PPE, 1 Benny spent
Spellcasting (at -1 due to sunlight) to cast Greater Slumber on the two minions on the south side of the bridge. 1d10-1 = 3: 4 or 1d6-1 = 3: 4

Benny for extra effort 1d6 = 5: 5

At 8, that is a Raise. The two minions must make a Spirit roll at -4 or fall into a deep and dreamless sleep. Waking them is a full round action for someone else, and they will not awaken due to noise or nondamaging physical manhandling.

The green and blue hue of the illumination the the Gepanzerter Skorpion's cockpit changes to red as the heavy weapons are now detected. Ulrich suddenly begins to manipulate the cockpit to make the large battle robot move with the grace and agility of a live animal.

"Contact. Heavy veapons spotted. Specialist Nomel, focus on the northern group und I vill target zhe southern. Our goal iz to protect zhe Bop from enemy fire."

"Chevy take evasive maneuvers und prep for an emergency extraction uf our ground forces in case uf more enemy reinforcements zhat ve missed"

"Stealth team, take out zhe small arms forces but do try und leave von alive for quetioningk if you can"

"Mr Architect, If you vould please provide the Nameless some air support of some kind ve vould be ever greatful."

The Gepanzerter Skorpion leaps into the air to fire from an elevated position before descending back down to an area that would only have light cover so the Gepanzerter Skorpion can have some environmental defense while drawing more fire away from his S.E.T.

Action: Anchor (facing southwest--field of fire is a diagonal line running from the northwest to the southeast of his position), then firing at the northern heavy weapon guy.

Since the baddies act before he does, most likely he'll only hit the heavy weapon user to the north edge of the bridge, but if the melee guy hangs back for some reason, he'll shoot them both. Note that if the melee guy runs up close enough, he could be in the area of the Sonic Boom, (an LBT centered on Nomel), instead.

Shooting (-2 MAP for anchor and shoot, +4 for Telemechanics): 1d8+2 = 9: 7
Wild Shooting 1d6+2 = 6: 4
Hit with a Raise!
Damage: 4d12+6 = 43: 9, 6, 12, 10 + 1d6 = 6: 6
Acing Damage 1d12 = 8: 8 1d6 = 1: 1
Total Damage: 58 MD, AP 25
Seeing the Scorpionmech (or whatever the fella with the funny accent calls it) take out one half of the bridge ambushers, Nomel decides to finish the job by targeting the two on the north side of the bridge. He turns to the southwest, and drops anchor, then swings the gun around to focus on the heavy weapon rat-man (if the melee fellow is still within that area, he'll hit him too).

Egil sees that the dirty Simvan are well in hand. That’s just as well as he did not want anything to do with their filthy hides anyway. Seeing Archie go for the dinos, his empathy towards wild creatures hits him like a truck. It's not their fault they are forced to carry Simvan...ugh the indecencies they must have suffered.

“Don’t hurt ‘em Arch”

The psi-stalker then steps out so the ostrosauri can see him and hopes his animal magnetism, oozing awesomeness, and the fact that Simvan are nasty creatures is enough to calm them enough not to eat him.

NOTHING MORE TO SAY ABOUT THIS THAT AIN'T BE SAID

Whisper's spell strikes the pair on the south side of the bridge. The minion with simple weapons collapses in a heap. The other one shakes it off!

Archie attempts to communicate with the ostrasaurus, but is unsuccessful.

Egil arrives in time to keep Archie from reacting with his secondary plan: a big flaming sword. Turning his attention to the dino's, Egil attempts to use his animal magnetism to calm them down. Calm down might not be the right word, but they definitely slow down and seem to be puzzling out the situation. The ostraurus are violent and aggressive creatures, but they don't charge blind into this fray. close on Archie and Egil with frightening speed, but Egil would be the first one around here to tell you they could go much faster. But instead of attacking immediately, they sniff and snort, unsure if Egil is part of the pack or food.

The simvan next to Brody seems to recover. He quick-draws the vibro-sword and slashes at Brody's noggin, but the blow strikes the strong points in the heavy armor. It glances off with out even marring the paint. The nearby human minion seems to recover as well, but not as quickly. He doesn't get his blade out, but he moves into melee anyway.

The lightly armed minion (Minion 6) on the north side of the bridge charges towards the Nameless heavy armor. Suicidal maybe.

His compatriot on the bridge fires off a burst from the light rail gun he's carrying, splattering supersonic flechettes ineffectively against the Bop's armored sides.

It seems that the minions with heavy weapons have decided that it's futile to attack the GB, and they aren't fully cognizant of the Skorpion prowling in the distance. So he's hit by a stream of flesh melting plasma, but the Bop ain't flesh and it doesn't melt. It hold strong (though, there are a few bubbles in the paint now). The underside of the big tree does catch on fire. Probably not too big of a problem.

Nomel blows up the north side of the bridge. It's just gone, the little popout portion and the railing. A chunk of the pier supporting it too. There's a splash as a make shift hovel is knocked into the river as three-quarters of it's support structure is vaporized. Yay Boom Gun! Miraculously, the minion with the rail gun is flung away from the explosion and still lives! He's not doing anything except squirming and screaming, his entire body is still covered in super hot fragments from the flechettes.

Simvan are vicious and agile fighters. So despite Brody's skill the d-bee cannibal avoids the psi-sword.

Urich's heavy rail gun fire isn't quite as impressively destructive as the Boom Gun, but it actually more successful There are nothing but a few molecules from the minion with the plasma ejector left. Basketball size holes pepper the bridge, penetrating through the stone. Some splash into the water below. Others create a different effect. Pieces of ramshackle habitation are destroyed by the over-penetration and fall into the river below adding to the flotsam from the Boom Gun's carnage. (Note: The Skorpion has +1 cover)

Chevy hardly sloshes any noodles around as he backs the Bop in the cover of the trees. He can't see the bad guys any more, not visually at least. They probably can't see him either, and none seemed to have anything going for them besides ugly. (Bop is Concealed)

Whisper frowns as one of the men resists her magic. That's what she got for working in sunlight, she supposed wryly.

Focusing her will on the remaining warrior, she casts another spell...a rather more focused, personal kind of magic.

As the man tried to decide who to unleash the next blast of plasma on, he heard a voice from behind him.

"Not all that glitters is...glitterboys? Eh. It's a work in progress."

A sword tip exploded out from his chest, and only then did he feel the pain of it. The cold of it. As if the metal was killing him not by making holes in him, but by drawing out all the heat in his body. He managed to turn around to see a black cloaked figure, wearing a mask like a mirror that showed only a distorted reflection of his own face.

Egil continues to try and keep the dinos calmhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpJNCO6Aj2Q]calm[/url[/url]]. Out of all the languages in his head, Simvan isn’t one of them. Not that Simvan actually speak coherently, anyway. The psi-stalker hopes a series of dino grunts and whimpers will work in this situation. Of course, Archie morphing into a dragon doesn’t help...or does it? Egil slowly motions towards the riding equipment on the dragon’s back and mimics unfastening it. He then moves towards the ostrosuauruses to see if he can take off their bridles and saddle.

Brody looks at the two that are standing against him. He thinks he has one choice go after the simvan and ghost and have both swing at each other. (Walking right through him to get to his back and put a little space between him and the two, setting up the next attack.)

Ulrich sees the Bop take fire and leaps next to it to try and shield it from any other surprises that might head it's way while going into a more defensive piloting mode and actively scanning the battlefield for more data on possible hostiles.

LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL
The minion on the bridge (Minion 6) continues his charge towards Nomel. He charges headlong swinging his vibro-blade wildly, so wildly that he stumbles right past the Glitter Boy and falls flat on his face.

Weakened by the explosion and tumble through the air, the minion with the plasma ejector struggled on the ground. Before he could recover at all, Whisper's vision is deadly effective. Shock, or fear, or both, cause the man to convulse and expire on the deck.

Nomel didn't even need to pull his anchors to avoid the minion. As the man starts to rise, Nomel catches him and launches him through the air. He lands in the bushes and lies still.

Ulrich and the super nimble giant robot land near the Bop. He uses his sensor to sweep the area. There's lots of movement to the south where the rest of the team is skirmishing. He picks up more movement on the far side of the bridge, too. It's hard to isolate anything. The movement is, uh, moving, but no one seems to heading across the bridge, yet.

Egil is the dino-tamer of truly Hollywood caliber. He gets the two ostrasaurus to calm down completely and start to relax. They let him approach and he starts to unsaddling one while the other roots around in the earth for the promised meaty snack...

...Only to be startled into wariness and caution again as Archie resumes his true size and shape. Perhaps it's Egil's calming presence, the two beasts don't panic, but no take several steps backwards and snarl up at the dragon. Egil doesn't lose his grip on the saddle as he is pulled along with the dino. The two ostrasaurus peer up at the even bigger lizard.

Brody ghosts through the two bad guys. The human takes a couple swings in the empty air, but the simvan is quicker. HIs first wild blow hits where Brody used to be. The next swing would make contact though--except there's nothing there to hit!

Chevy hangs tight hiding in the bushes. His sensors also pick up the movement on the bridge.

What are you doing?

The Next Attack

As Brody stated he was setting up for the next attack. He will become tangible if needed to use Greater Havoc
Brody moves away toward woods and target the two enemy with Greater Havoc (medium burst behind them)Any character touched by the template must make a Strength roll (at −4if the caster gets a raise). Any target that fails is knocked 3d6" in a random direction (roll a d12 and read the result as a clock facing) and becomes prone. Trapping: Slow power like stun, difficult ground

Notice 1d6 = 1: 1
Psi 1d8+4 = 9: 5 (4 PP for Greater Havoc, +4 uses 4PP) Success and a raise.

Wild Dice 1d6 = 1: 1
1d6 = 1: 1 3d6 = 9: 3, 1, 5
1d6 = 1: 1 3d6 = 7: 1, 2, 4

Brody wonders where all his help is. "Those guys just left me with two I think they need to talk to them."

For the next round he will launch himself at them swinging the Psi Sword.

Having obliged the near-suicidal urges of the fellow who rushed him, Nomel figures he may as well bat clean-up. Teeing up, he swings the staff again, swiping at the heavy-weapon wielder remaining on the bridge. The resulting connection is not pretty.

Notice
Notice 1d6+2 = 4: 2
Wild Die 1d6+2 = 5: 3

Temporary Effects: Detect Arcana, Exalted Darksight with boosted stealth, boosted Persuasion, Spirit +1 die

Permanent Effects: +2 to Notice, Animal Empathy: animals treat psi-stalkers as one of their own.
Egil nods at Architect.

“I got this, big guy.”

But Egil didn’t have it. He so dearly wanted to see what was happening on the other side of the bridge but there was water...a lot of it...the wreckage was lost and even if he could get to it. He might get stuck and be trapped under the water. Under the dark depths...sure his armor was fully environmental...but what if it leaked…

Keep it together, Edge

The psi-stalker knew he couldn’t succumb to his fear now as the ostrosaurauses would surely sense it and tear him apart. No, he was the alpha in this scenario and he had to show it. He turned the coin pendant he had found over in his fingers and an idea came to him.

“Ok, boys...girls...not the time to check...anyway...I’m going to take a quick look at what’s moving around on the other side of the river and then you two are going to take me over there to kick ass and chew Simvan. Well...I’m going to kick ass, you two can kick ass and do the Simvan chewing.”
Actions
Use Talisman of Marduk’s Clairvoyance power to see what’s going on in the tents across the river Psionics 1d10+1 = 5: 4 Wild Die 1d6+1 = 3: 2 Spend 4 of the Talisman's 10 PPE to see and hear what is going on over there.
Split the Seconds Action: Mount up and head over there. Ride 1d6-4 = -2: 2 Wild Die 1d6-4 = 2: 6 Ace 1d6 = 4: 4 -4 is due to Phobia of crossing the river on a swimming dino's back. Total=6! Wow did I need that Ace!
Egil focuses his senses to zero in on the movement across the river. He then climbs aboard one of the dinos and loops an arm around the other and guides them to swim (walk) across the river.

Whisper nodded approvingly, and stepped back into the shadow of the tree she'd stood beside to fade entirely from vision again.

Now, where to? Things on the bridge seemed under control...perhaps check downriver?

The silhouette slipped easily from tree to tree, following bushes and rocks where possible to stay in shadows. A sharp eye might have seen the impression of something moving out there. A branch breaking, or a glimpse of an arm or leg where the limb strayed out of shade...but not enough to easily locate her.

The sound of some kind of havoc playing in the woods got her attention, and she went that way.

And there was Brody, having some entertainment.

She'd see if his game was too much for them, or if they needed some encouragement to lay their heads down and sleep.

Rolls: Invisibility 10 (raise)
Invisibility (shadow walk) again, not Improved as a free action 1d10 = 7: 7 or 1d6 = 6: 6
Ace 1d6 = 4: 4

Then move down to where she can see Brody and his targets. She'll cast Sleep on them if the Havoc doesn't incap them.

LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL II
Archie starts root around inside the tents and the gear scattered about at the campsite2. It's dirty and smelly and full of meaty remains and chewed bones.

Reluctantly fighting without backup, Brody unleashes another psi blast. The minion and simvan try to resist the burst of psychic energy. For a brief moment it seems like they might, but then, the blast knocks them off their feet sending them flying into the surrounding understory. They are tumbled and unsteady, but not dead. The minion recovers quickly, but the simvan continues to struggle.

Leaping onto the dino, Egil dashes towards the bridge, overcoming his fear in the process. Using the powers of the amulet, Egil views the area across the bridge. Of course, it's not good news. There's a at least four more grubby minions scrambling out of grubby tents. Another pair of simvan are hopping aboard a pair of rhino-buffalo while two more ostrasaurus riders are charging towards the bridge. There is a tent that's still grubby, but larger than the others. A moment later a thornhead exits the large tent. It starts bellowing out orders.
Thornhead
Image
Whisper slips through woods like a shadow, unseen. She arrives near Brody in time to see him blast the simvan and minion across the ground. She can position herself within range to strike with her sleep spell when the time comes. Both villains are still alive, though not terribly functional at this very moment.

Nomel evades the suicidal minion long enough. Then with the mystical staff, Nomel launches the guy over the bridge and into the river below. Egil and his buddies join him on the bridge as well, but Nomel doesn't have quite as clear a view of the other side as Egil. He can clearly see the rhino-buffalo however.

Tactically, Nomel knows he should probably just re-anchor and take out anything that comes across the bridge. But he figures it won't hurt to get a bit closer, first, and maybe get a better view of the other side. So as not to waste too much time, he lopes forward at a leisurely jog, glancing down into the hole he made in the bridge's northern outcropping to see if there's anything worth noting down there, as well.

Archie takes to the air, completely disregarding the tents and their contents.

Seeing Nomel move forward from the air, he decides to follow Egil instead. He follows Egil across the ravine and gorge and is in a position to back up Egil's next play.

As Brody is watching the the human He hoping the human will surender and his new friends will come over and bind the one they wanted for interagation. behind the human he sees Arch take off again around the river and head north and away. "St SNAFU Help Us!" "If this guy dosent surrender he is dead meat. I wonder what the others are doing. I hear stuff happening over there. My one must be just a small part of a bigger group. " A smile comes accross Brody's face , but thank heave for the helmet which hides the Death Grin.

In a low voice to someone who might not be there, "Yes, I know they are crazy. Just wait a sec, are you talking about this human or the group I'm with? " "Yes, I agree. but there is flesh eating crazy and the other where you can't concentrate on one thing and do something else as you leave someone behind to clean up the mess Crazy. "

Again to that someone who might not be there, "OK so the last one, we will consider the new norm as we hang out with this group. So we should suspect they will wander off and let others deal with it. It being anything thing that they start."

After Arch radio call Brody smirks, and says after keying the mic, "Ghost copies, we'll be over there as soon as I clean up this mess that everyone left me with. Should I gather the goods or just make my way to you?"

Brody responds to the unseen friend, "Yes I know it is better to go over there, but there might be something important here." "OK, we'll do it your way head over then come back, safety in numbers."

Brody takes the simvan down with the psi-sword, nearly slicing him in two with the crackling blade of psychic energy. Whether it's Brody's commanding presence, the fact that he just watched one of his "pack" cut down, or maybe something else, the other human surrenders with several barely intelligible words. It's the kneeling with his hands on his head that really seals the deal. He expels periodic grunts of half words.

Whisper, in true stealth fashion, stealths close to where Brody is partying with his new friends. She has a great seat to witness the ghost wrapping up the party. She is also the only one in position to see a pair of filthy, bedraggled and soaking wet minions clamber up onto the floating garbage quickly moving down river.

Nomel, Egil and for the gm's sanity Ulrich dash across the bridge. The heavy vehicles cause some crumbling to the bridge, but it holds. As they reach the other side, the enemies, already identified by Egil's metaphysical visions and Archie's aerial search. Four grubby minions, two simvan on ostrasaurus, and two on rhino-buffalo. The thornhead is clearly the leader, and he bellows out what can only be commands. They are all running at top speed to meet the Nameless.

Egil can smell the magic deliciousness of the thornhead even from this far away.

Egil charges the two ostrosaurus riders in what appears to be a deadly game of dinosaur chicken. With his charged sword in one hand, he draws his pulse laser pistol in the other and gets his feet underneath of him on the back of the ostrosaurus he is riding. Just before dino impact the two dinos Egil is guiding break right and left and the psi-stalker leaps into the air over the two Simvan riders firing into them as he sails overhead. Both of the dirty cannibals are struck, one definitely fatally.

The psi-stalker tucks his legs and makes a perfect somersault to land safely only to find himself staring down two Rhino-Buffalo.

"Yeah, Nomel, definitely take out the big ugly beasts that are about to trample me..."

Ulrich brings the Scorpion to a a spot that makes it the predominant target so the glitter boy isn't charged in Melee so Nomel can utilize his technological relic's main strength, the boom gun. Digging into that spot He fires his rail gun at one of the Rhino Buffalo and lets loos with two mini missiles on the demon.

"Specialist Chevy, Vould you pleaze be so kind az to provide backup for Mr Brody. Ve can handle ve bridge und I do not vant Brody to be overvelmed. Brody is a bit shocked that the Human surrendered. He isn’t sure he should trust him. “The group wants to interrogate this one.” He goes be hind the captive his sword still glowing and pointing to the back of the head of the kneeling man.

Brody looks around for something to bind the captive. Then ask him, “This is rather embarrassing, do you have a set of hand cuffs or something to bind your arms? Another Question. Where do you keep the live captives? Another one Sorry. Uh my friend wants to know if human taste like chicken. And another one dang, I’m not good at this. Who is your boss?”
Over the radio, “I have your prisoner, you need to come over and pick him up. I’m not good at keeping them entertained.”

If the prisoner makes a wrong move Brody will inpale the man with the Psi Sword (spending an PP to keep it going.)

"You're doing fine, Brody," Whisper whispers through the comms. "Just keep him busy for a moment longer while I do a little housecleaning..."

She launched another spell at the two minions who'd managed to clamber ontop of a raft of debris. Immediately the fatigue they felt redoubled; their aching arms and legs dragging them down, their eyelids fluttering shut as the sky seemed to darken and the sun cool in their perceptions...

The Chaing-Ku flies overhead, which brings it to the attention of the Thornhead. It's head and even the snakey talons look upward, his cruel face scowling. Nomel's pylons dig in, causing a puff of dirt. Egil charges the Ostorasaurus riders on his own mount, almost crashing into them until at the last moment he somersaults firing and striking both of the Simvan. One slumps to the ground dead while the other appears to be temporarily shaken. The dinos pause in place. The Rhino Buffalo pick up speed, looking to knock the glittering power armor over when the Scorpion Mech nimbly moves between them, blasting the creatures with bursts of rail gun fire. The Buffalo abruptly slump to the ground, blood exploding out of the backs of each of them as their organs are liquified by the electromagnetic powered slugs. Their riders, not prepared for the sudden stop lurch forward, hitting the ground and stunning them. A warning flashes on the Scorpion Mech's HUD, there has been some sort of technical error when the gun was firing (Roll on the Technical Difficulties Table, save your benny as the Critical Failure rule is in place). Undeterred by the glitch, he pops the Thornhead demon with a mini-missle which obliterates it, the second missle continuing on beyond where the creature once stood. Whispers spell goes off flawlessly and the two minions targetted by it suddenly decide to take a nap right there on the spot. The two other non slumbered Simvan desperately try to attack but are blocked by the now dead Rhino Buffalos and the chaotic scene in general. They pause for a moment, preparing for a last desperate attack. An eerie calm falls over the battlefield as the enemies are asleep, dead, or temporarily unable to do anything.
OOC Comments
Ulrich, you crit failed on your third shot. So roll on the technical difficulties table and apply the result to your rail gun. To further answer your question, if you roll the max on one of your damage die you can then reroll that die. It really doesn't matter if you just add a die, or even do a separate roll underneath to represent the exploding die, whatever works best for you. Everyone please take a benny.

One of the Dino Riders is dead, the dino remains near. The other dino rider is still mounted and shaken. The two remaining Simvan are still up and on the table, and can act freely on their turn. All of the bad guys who are able to will try to unshake on their turn. As you can see the bad guys rolled especially poorly, so they will go last if they go at all. Archie makes one more circle of the thornhead, now dead and then heads off to provide back up for Egil. Landing to Egil's rear, he gives enough presence to make the dinos nervous for sure.

Brody continues to watch his kneeling captive, he makes sure the captive is placed in a situation where he is at a disadvantage. “OK, I want you to lay face down on the ground with those hands behind your back.” He makes sure his hands are secured with the prisoner’s own shirt.

He speaks to Whisper, “Everything OK? Should we get this one and start heading over to the others? I don’t want to get to far away from them. Safety in numbers.” When Whisper agrees he tells the prisoner to stand and to walk slowly toward the bridge.
As the prisoner is led away in front of them, Brody ghost just in case there is a stray shot from the fighting on the other side.

"By all means," Whisper replies, "Lead on."

She follows Brody to rendezvous with the rest of the team.

"With all these little distractions, we may be behind schedule when we reach our destination. Though these boys are locals...they may have a few useful tidbits of gossip for us to make this worth our while."

She reaches out to ruffle one of the captive's hair, almost as if affectionate.

"And unusually well-equipped for a miserable bunch of bandits. You have someone's support, don't you?"
