Bandito Arms Branaghan Armored Overcoat (Rifts Patron Item)
The overcoat or long-coat — also known as a duster — is a favorite among cowboys, gunfighters and sheriffs because it is both stylish and offers a surprising amount of protection, as well as making an excellent raincoat (waterproof and a good article of clothing in which to hide a shotgun or rifle under). The entire coat is lined with (relatively) lightweight armor padding with plates over the shoulders and torso (often concealed under the fabric). It offers 8 small but usable internal pockets (four on each side).
• +1 Toughness (in Savage Rifts, this stacks with other all sources of toughness per VV)
• Characters with Super Strength (TLPG p. 65) will multiply their Load limit by 1.4 (or 2.0 if they have Brawny), while normal characters will increase their load limit to Strength x 7 (or Strength x10 if they have Brawny) in pounds.
• No Minimum Strength Requirement (10 lbs.)
Features:
Attachment points can be utilized to carry 1 each of the following item types: small, one-handed weapons, canteen, minor items or individual tools.

GAW Throwback (Patron Item)
Image
This Pre-Rifts shotgun design is being tested by Golden Age Weaponsmiths, using mercs like you!
• Range: 12/24/48
• RoF: 3, 3RB
• Damage: Slug: 2d12+2, AP 2 / Buckshot: 1-3d8+2, AP 0, +2 to hit / BigBore "Shotgun" Shells: 3d6+2 Mega Damage, BigBore Knockdown, AP 0
• • BigBore Knockdown: If hit, whether damaged or not, the target of the attack rolls Strength at -2 versus the shooting roll of the attacker. If the target fails, they are pushed 1" and knocked prone, or pushed 2" and knocked prone if the shooter gets a raise on the roll. This does not affect targets size 3 or greater. If they hit an obstacle while being pushed, they can be Shaken, as per the Push Maneuver on SWD p. 85. The same page also has information on the effects of Prone.
• Payload: Expanded internal tubular magazine, 50 round capacity (5 rows of ten). Switching between rows is an action equivalent to drawing a weapon; Quick Draw applies.
• Features:
• • A golden age recoil suppression system negates 2 points of penalties to hit from auto-fire.
• • Adaptive engineering: can also use Bandito Arms BigBore "Shotgun" Shells (damage is reduced, but knockdown effect added)
• Min Strength d6; (15 lbs.)
• BigBore Cost: 120 credits per BB shotgun shell or 16,000 credits for a gross (box of 144 shells)

Gepanzerter Skorpion

(Updated 04-07. I will not use new equipment until cleared to do so by GM.)

Robot armor

One custom reconstructed scorpion robot made from several salvaged Triax X-1000 Ulti-Max using the same basic stats. (see picture in the link bellow)

Size 4, Crew 1, Strength d12+5,
Toughness 25 (12) +6 for the force field for a total of 31, Pace 7

Notes: M.D.C. Armor,
Propulsion Jets (Pace 6” in water or vacuum)
Force Field (+6 Armor, stops working if robot takes a wound or more, requiring 24 hours to recharge, energy weapons cannot fire out of the field)

Weapons:
„„Heavy Rail Gun (Tail)
Range: 100/200/400, Damage: 4d10+4, RoF: 3, AP: 18, Shots: 120, Mods: 5

„„Light Duel Plasma Ejectors (front arch) +2 to hit and damage from duel linked
Range: 30/60/120, Damage: 3d10+5, RoF: 1, AP: -, Shots: - , Mods: 1

„„2× Mini-Missile Launchers (Tail)
Range: 100/200/400, Damage: 5d6, RoF: 1, AP: 6, Shots: 12 , Mods: 1

120MM Morter (common ammo load out for Ulrich 2x Smoke, 2x illumination. Ulrich has other means of offence so this is primarily used as a utilitarian tool)
Range: 75-100/200/400, Damage: Per ammo fired, RoF: 1 AP: Per ammo used, Shots:4 Must be stationary for accuracy.
Round types
High Explosive: 4d10 Med AP 2 MD
Other round types can include precision guided, dual purpose, smoke, illumination, IR illumination, and plasma rounds

Additional customization

Flight system
As the Gepanzerter Skorpion isn't really designed for flight the flight pack will allow it to achieve comparatively limited flight of 100 mph at 3000 ft for a maximum of 10 hours, assuming a reasonably calm day. If there are intense winds attempting flight would be very risky as the body of the scorpion simply isn't meant to cut through that kind of weather and will have a hard time balancing, The Gepanzerter Skorpion could fall right out of the sky. Hovering up to 3000 ft also isn't a problem provided there aren't intense winds. However the addition of the thrusters does give the Gepanzerter Skorpion a thruster assisted leap will get it 100 feet high and 150 feet across.

The man who is Ulrich Von Schlierkamp is a man that grew up in one of the smaller communities in the nation of the New German Republic. He had always been a technical tinkerer even at a young age and this aptitude was noticed by the Triax nation after a group of New German soldiers had to stop and repair their mecha after one of the many fights with the Gargoyles. Their field mechanic was killed in the unit's last scrimmage and their power armor and robots were barely functional. Ulrich got to work and repaired the machinery well enough to not only face but defeat the gargoyle patrol that was tracking them.

After the gargoyles were fended off the soldiers thanked Ulrich and were authorized to offer up a position to him. The Republic had been wanting to place a post out in the comunities location but it was kind of hard to access by most due to the terrain but if Ulrich was willing to help the military set up a good post and repair facility it would fortify the town from attack even more. Ulrich agreed as the village had avoided notice before but now that the gargoyles realized they were there it was not longer a safe location and would now need protection.

After several years, Ulrich had help make the valley the village was in a strategic strong point for advanced robot and power armor repairs for the northern forces in the NGR. As such the gargoyles tested the defenses on a few occasions and were pushed back with minimal losses to the NGR so they stopped attacking. Unfortunately during one of these attacks Ulrich was injured very badly and needed much in the was of cybernetic enhancements to continue on. The NGR made sure he was taken care of and he continued like this for the next decade or so of his life. This is when it happened.

Ulrich met a woman and he felt a strong connection with her. She was an Quick-flex who had actually undergone the Crazy M.O.M enhancement program. She was forced to fight in the gladiatorial pits in Atlantis for her Splugorth master's pleasure. The relationship was rather intense as they became an official couple after 6 months or so. She had something to ask of him though. Those that helped free her from her enslavement by the Splugorth had contacted her. They were in a group called the Tomorrow Legion and they wanted her to come join them. She felt she needed to travel there and honor the wishes of those that freed her so Ulrich turned in his resignation with the NGR and traveled with.

Upon reaching the Americas they joined the Tomorrow Legion and began helping out however they could. Even though they were assigned to different Exploration squads they still kept in contact and continued their relationship. During one mission Ulrich's squad came across some mecha mercs who were holding a village hostage. Through some subterfuge and well planned tactics from his unit they defeated the 4 large robots. Ulrich seeing an opritunity requested some time to use his mechanical skills and construct a few usable mechs out of the salvage for the Tomorrow legion. After some time the wreckage of the 4 robots become two usable robots with spare parts. This pleased the Legion command to say the least. Ulirich claimed salvage of one but gifted the bigger of the two to the legion as a fortification defense robot.

That was 4 months ago and Ulrich has not regretted his decision to travel as he is still helping people and in his relationship. He now sees himself as a stalwart protector of the common folk who cannot defend themselves. Discovering that even though he had a knack for repair and technical aspects of engineering he was even better at piloting the very robots he could build. I all seemed to just come so easily as he piloted the huge machines. It was almost like he was the robot instead of just inside controlling it making him a very deadly pilot. Ever since then the tomorrow legion has been using him as heavy support in possible hot spots for important missions.
