Edges for Approval
50 Fathoms wrote:Natural Swimmer
Requirements: Novice, not available to Aquatic and Semi-Aquatic races.
Your hero wasn’t literally born in the water, but some might believe he was. He takes to it like a fish and can hold his breath longer than most others. Natural swimmers add +2 to their Swimming rolls, add +1 to their Swimming Pace, and can hold their breath 50% longer than others of their species. In a world mostly covered in 50 fathoms of water, this Edge can be quite important.
Not that I want to use it, but this does open up the possibility of an "Elemental Fusionist" edge that allows a hero with more than one "Warlock" edge to somehow combined trappings or do some other weird thing.Custom wrote:Elemental Resistance
Requirements: Novice, AB Miracles
A Warlock draws mystic power from a supernatural elemental intelligence not study or learning. This elemental link imbues the follower with elemental-based magic and a natural link to that element (Air, Earth, Fire and Water.) The warlock gains +2 armor/+2 resistance to the chosen element. This edge can be taken once for each element.
Elemental Duality
Requirements: Seasoned, AB Miracles
Some Warlocks choose to serve more than one elemental master. Although this is not without its complications it does allow greater diversity of ability. Choose one of Air, Earth, Wind, Fire or Water) and hero automatically gains the appropriate trappings for any new and existing powers (i.e. if a Water warlock has bolt with ice trappings and selects the fire version of this edge they gain bolt with fire trappings as well). This edge may only be taken once.

Requirements: Veteran, Master of Magic, Elemental Diversity, AB Miracles
A fusionist can blend two elemental forces together in unpredictable ways. Rather than the either/or of this Warlock can spend an additional power point to use a power with two seemingly opposite trappings (i.e. liquid fire, or flaming ice).
