Signal Check LOOT
Signal Check LOOT
As usual, just reposting the info from the Loot Pinata:
x9 CA-4 Standard “Dead Boy” Body Armor (+7 Armor, +2 Toughness, FEP, Mini-Comp, Comms, Thermal/Night) [Special--See below, but 2.5K each if you just take what the Legion's offering]
x9 CP-40 Pulse Laser Rifle (Range 30/60/120, Damage 3d6+2 AP 2, RoF 3) [4K each]
x16 C-20 Laser Pistol (Range 15/30/60, Damage 2d6+1 AP 2, RoF 1) [1.6K each]
x9 Vibro-knife (Str+d6, AP 4, Mega Damage) [700 each]
x18 frag grenades (Range 5/10/20, Damage 3d6, LBT, Mega Damage) [55 each]
x7 CV-213 VLF Laser Rifle (Range 30/60/120, 3d6+2, AP 2 MD, RoF 3, No Snapfire, Ign. Laser-resistance) [6K each]
x8 CV-200 Deadman's Mini Rail Gun (Range 75/150/300, Damage 2d8+2 MD, AP 4, RoF 3, No Snapfire) [5K each]
x4 DPM 101 “Dog Pack” Light Armor (+5 Armor) [1.4K each]
x4 C-10 Light Assault Laser Rifle (Range 30/60/120, Damage 3d6, RoF 1, AP 2) [1.6K each]
x4 Vibro-blade vambraces (Str+d8+1, AP 4, Mega Damage, Parry +1) [1.1K each]
C-29 “Hellfire” Heavy Plasma Cannon (Range 18/36/72, Damage 3d10+4 MD, Plasma, 16 shots) [4.2K]
Pieces and Parts: While none of the SAMAS units really survived their high-speed collisions with the ground intact, there's miscellaneous parts that can be salvaged equal to about 1 intact unit: 160K in salvage
Total Legion Offer: 356,000. Assuming a share is set aside for Echo, that would come to 82,000 each. You also get 16K each in mission bonuses (combined combat pay and extra reward for rescuing the D'norr kids). So a total of 99K each if you just take what the Legion's offering, plus three week's pay for each character, as listed here.
All prices assume the 10% Legion offer for salvage. As always, if you want, you could attempt to sell it yourselves to the Black Market with a Streetwise roll. A simple success gets you 5% (so half the above), plus an additional 5% for every raise. You get +2 to the roll for each of the following Edges: I Know A Guy, Scrounger, Connections. On a failed roll, no buyer emerges and you have to try again after a week; on a CritFail, we get to have a spontaneous encounter. In addition, anyone else with Streetwise can roll to support, with the same bonuses to their own rolls, and thus grant a +1 per success/Raise they get to the seller's roll. This support is capped to +4 per person rolling, and does require you to have the skill.
The CA-4 Armor is a special case. Due to newness, the armor is exceptionally 'hot'. Anyone caught selling it will have a very hard time of it. The Legion will pay 2.5K per suit to take them off your hands. Alternately, you can do a black market deal. This requires either I Know a Guy or Connections: Black Market (or faction thereof) and a Streetwise -2 roll, in which case you get a hard offer of 5K per suit--take it or leave it.

Re: Signal Check LOOT
Sara is taking one of the CA-4 Deadboy armors, a C-20 laser pistol, and the 18 frag grenades (since no one else claimed them.). She will add her NG-33 starting pistol and her Huntsman armor to the loot pile.

Re: Signal Check LOOT
Echo will accept the cash. Then she will try and find someone selling something like the Altera necklaces or other enchanted item with Deflection/armor type spells in it.
Not sure if we build ourselves or if there is a market price. She will have about 218,000 in credits.

Re: Signal Check LOOT
Okay, we need a record of how much folks are willing to contribute to a big gun for the Creeper. Just post an amount here. Remember, Minor Greedy characters will not donate more than the lowest donation by non-Greedy characters, so Henry and Chok'lat should probably go last. Once we figure out your best-case weapon purchase, we can move on.
You start with 100K in credit for not taking one of the stock weapons that was being offered.

Cloak of Blending
This grey cloak causes the wearer to go unnoticed by those around them. When active the character simply disappears from the minds of those around her as if she was not important enough to matter.

Echo has up to 100,000 left she can donate towards the group need for a Creeper. Let me know how much of it you end up using

Re: Signal Check LOOT
Okay, so:
You started with 100K Credit
Growler donates 150K
Herra donates 150K
Echo donates 100K
That brings you to 500K. The Creeper now is outfitted with a Heavy Railgun. I'll add it to the statblock.

Re: Signal Check LOOT
Is any more needed? Sara still has 100k she could donate. If not, I'll save it for when I can finally get some TW upgrades.

Re: Signal Check LOOT
For 100K, with 2 mod slots remaining, you could get a second weapon, most likely a Light Missile Launcher or Light Ion Cannon (Missile launcher does WAY more damage, but the Ion Cannon doesn't allow other vehicles to dodge, and also doesn't cost money with every shot).
After that, the next best thing is another 500K to dual-mount the existing Railgun.

Re: Signal Check LOOT
I like the idea of saving the 100,000 for the next trip back where we may be able to add a medium weapon to the the Ion Cannon, Echo can even come up any additional funds from the next mission.Freemage wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 2:46 pm For 100K, with 2 mod slots remaining, you could get a second weapon, most likely a Light Missile Launcher or Light Ion Cannon (Missile launcher does WAY more damage, but the Ion Cannon doesn't allow other vehicles to dodge, and also doesn't cost money with every shot).

Re: Signal Check LOOT
Chok'lat claimed the Heavy Plasma Cannon and 1 Deadman's railgun, deducting those costs from his share.
