ARES question

Thinking about some character options I have been reading over the house rule section and have developed a bit of confusion. For "Fated by Chance" you roll twice on the P&G table and gain one extra edge. For "Master of Your Destiny" you can pick your two results but need approval to run the concept.

The problem I am having is the example for MoYD appears to have three P&G choices. A 5 for Shadow, then 9 twice to get Very Individual.

Is this an actual problem or am I over thinking it?

You're over thinking it. MoYD allows you two pick any two results. Yes, including the second result of a particular result.
