So I originally came here after being directed here having asked around about Savage Worlds based PBPs, had the intention of running a Weird Wars game and ended up joining the Deadlands game.
A few Quarters later I'm looking once more at running my own game, but can't decided on what to run. I have three ideas for games that I wish to run, though I'll present each option to you guys to see which proves to be the most popular choice.
Weird Wars - This was the game I was originally planning on running.
The basic premise will be a fictional British Army unit (1st Battalion, Gwentshire Rifles) throughout WW2, starting in Palestine in July 1939 and the war in Europe (Norway & France). The Desert War in North Africa is a strong possibility, but from 1942 onwards there will be a choice of different theaters of operation.
Achtung! Cthulhu - A!C is something thats piqued my interest and I would like to run a game of this, though it'll probably be working through the published adventures in chronological order.
Ravenloft - This is a setting that I've been very interested in for quite some years now, I was very much delighted when somebody did a Savage Worlds conversion of it.
For those who are unfamiliar with the setting, it is a Gothic horror setting first conceived as an adventure way back in 1st Edition D&D but has enjoyed some recent attention.

Hello Stormwell,
How much experience do you have with play by post? Are you aware of the strengths and weaknesses? Also do you have interest in jumping in as a player for a quarter first to make sure this is a format that you are really interested in?

Stormwell,
We always welcome new GMs! Love me some Weird Wars as an option...although I can't take on anymore games personally.
Here's some stuff we have on becoming a GM: viewtopic.php?f=79&t=517
Let me know if you have any questions!

Are you thinking about using the Ravenloft Reincarnated supplement from Fraternity of Shadows? It's really well done. I downloaded it a few days ago and was thinking about using it in conjunction with Beyond the Wall (an OSR variant with a heavy focus on cooperative character gen) for a short-term/one-off game I've been mulling.

Was thinking of having the characters start in Baroiva, then look for ways to 'escape' from Ravenloft.
