Good Bye 2020

2020 has been a very rough year for everyone. Some more than others. Well @Venatus Vinco and I are glad to say we made through to the other side and hopefully you did too. To start 2021 off right and set the tone for better things to come we are sponsoring a contest. This will be a simple contest with simple rules.

• The Rules
  * You must have survived 2020
  * You must be alive. No zombies will be allowed in.
  * You must be a registered player on Savagerifts.com
  * One entry per player. Do not post entries from your alt accounts.
  * Entries need to be short. Any entry more than a sentence or two will be removed.
  * Contest will end on 1/17/2021 23:59 PST

How do I Enter?
Simply respond to this thread with one or two sentences (and keep it clean) on why you are glad 2020 is over. Then please list the prize you would like to win. @Venatus Vinco and I will then randomly select the winners from the entries.

I am totally looking forward to politics sliding more into the background and hope the operation Warp Speed vaccine rollout will motivate them to roll back the lock downs here in North West Washington.



PS: I do not need a prize, but if there are less than 7 entries would love and use the Foundry SW stuff

I'm glad 2020 is done because I am looking forward to the SW companion books being released this year. I would love to have the SWADE rules for Foundry to run games on.

I am glad 2020 is over because simply because a new year means new challenges to face and overcome, new people to meet, new games to play and new goals to set.

As for prize, the Foundry stuff please.

I'm glad 2020 is over because that means we'll get all new things to complain about. (You thought 2021 is going to be better? You dear, sweet summer children...)

I'd like the silver patron account.

2021 will bring some return to normalcy as it goes, politics will become less important and the virus concern will continue to decline. I personally will divert more attention to fun things instead like PbP gaming.

Foundry sounds good for a prize.

In 2019 I had surgery and took most of the year to get my arm working again. In 2021 I already have two surgeries scheduled. 2020 was not so bad.

I am glad 2020 is gone because 2021 because I no longer have to date checks with the full year. (Silver patron, please.)

Thankful 2020 is over and looking forward to 2021 because surviving COVID-19 built some resistance, if not immunity, and surviving 9 months of leading a team through remote work built skills (communication, especially) we'll be able to leverage in the new year.

I am looking forward to the end of the apocalypse that was 2020. This last year should have been in the rulebook under "Causes for RIFTS".

If I sneeze in public, I don't want people near me to make the sign of the cross....

I'm glad 2020 is over because a return to normalcy is jjuusstt peaking over the horizon. Coming with this was the announcement that the company I work for has realized that people are just as (if not more) productive working from home and is allowing everyone to work from home permanently! Silver patron please.
