Hey,

I saw a FB post today that reminded me of one of my all time favourite settings: The 'Burbs. I always wanted to try a gritty, Shadowrun-esque game in the burbs but MDC and power disparities always ruined my day.

Do you think the SW ruleset lends itself better to this type of environment and style?

Would you want to run a scenario like that?

Here's a little Wiki I made for a 'Burb/Lower Level of Chi-Town game.

Tried to run it as a PBP but couldn't get the "grit" I wanted.

SW would definitely run that type of game better, and basically you build standard SW characters with access to some rifts edges is all.
