Ravenloft is a world unlike other worlds. It is a construct, an artificial pocket realm endlessly prowling the trackless Ethereal Plane. The implacable Dark Powers crafted their realm from the hidden fears of the innumerable worlds of the Material Plane, and shape reality to reflect their sinister sensibilities.

The so-called 'Mists of Ravenloft' are notable for having a life of their, either forming borders to isolated domains or leading travelers astray to realms far from their intended destination. From time-to-time the Mists extend their tendrils into any world with ties to the Ethereal Plane and snatch individuals from those worlds, stragglers whom the insular folk of Ravenloft call 'outlanders'.

You are one such outlander.

Certainly a possibility as I was simply having characters arrive in Ravenloft via the mists as the intro, so some of the Shaintar characters may work.

Yep, if you can get a character sorted and posted in this forum I can then see about getting posting rights for the Ravenloft forum sorted.

The main tread in the forum in question is slowly being updated with character related stuff and Setting Rules.

Can do, I'll get a character put together this evening and post it. Shouldn't take too long, I'd like to be a bard type character probably more for the lore gathering aspect of it. We'll see what it looks like once I'm through it.

Obviously sort out a character, the character brief is in the tread linked in the first post; basically a character who comes from a fantasy world of your choice (could be an established setting or generic fantasy setting) but suddenly finds themselves in the 'world' of Ravenloft.

Just to confirm, looking to start this in Q1 2019.
