Rakis (New Troker Dimensional City)

The Arcane Company Dimensional Portal

Located adjacent to the AC HQ, the portal is accessed regularly by AC Jumpers (some times called AC Drones). Jumpers are men and woman who work for AC as Security for Miners who mine several worlds. The gate is unlike most Rifts, it does not have a Arcane scent to it. (Mechanical process to open gate, not magic). The Rosen-Mímir Bridge acts exactly like a Rift in regard to being able to portal to other worlds, but can only be operated by Rene or her loyal Rift Wardens. As payment for their assistance, the BC are allowed free use of the Gate to where ever they want. The appeal of Rakis is that it is a easy way to the dimensional city of New Troker, and use of the AC portal means no PPE cost to open portal.

Rakis is a desert-like arid hot Dwarf Planet: a celestial body resembling a small planet but lacking certain technical criteria that are required for it to be classed as such.

The entire moon sized planet is desert, its main attraction, an oasis, is the Dimensional Trade City: New Troker.

The Main mining site, Fissure, is a hellish hot hole, that nets more credits than any other mining site owned by the AC.

The Wastelands are full of D-Beings and gangers. If one is willing to put up with occasional gangers, Rakis is a great gateway world, visiting New Troker, which is a dimensional city.
