Re: Campaign Feedback & Follow up
I will likely come up with a few things after this post but I will post them as they come to me.
The Big Bad was intense and really was the greatest concern in the final battle. Fritz was not equipped to handle anything in that realm or magnitude. Maybe that was my problem in character design, not entirely sure. Making sure a pure support or mostly support character can contribute successfully in the big scenes would be my recommendation to begin with.

I'll echo that, despite having an ability that should have made me useful, I found myself unable to affect anything. Some of that is luck, some of that is choices I made, but regardless I felt useless pretty much from turn 2.
I'll be honest, it's making me question as to whether to let LC die - part of why I haven't posted yet. If he couldn't hack it here, what good is he going to be in even worse and more challenging scenarios

Re: Campaign Feedback & Follow up
Hum,
It is something for me to think about. I also noticed a lot of whiffs on both sides. It really surprised me when a turn would go by and the players would not have even killed a corrupted.
My normal expectation from my live groups in those situations is the skill based groups start using support and tests to inflict conditions on the bad guy.
One thing I am thinking is for War to use a Dramatic task where some of you fend of the CS and the Mechanoids while the others fight War.
that makes it easier to be useful, make progress and still have a challenge.

If I can't make a nega-psychic version of LC work, I'll probably let him die and start fresh.

Super fun. No issues with anything. Just keep rolling with more... Higher stakes, more drama, love it.
Just a small suggestion based on some of the feedback, sometimes when having tanks, dragon, grouped with mortal men having like you are indicating a side long dramatic task that takes more skill than brawn can give those types of characters a moment to shine when confronting the big bad.

Yep, I think that is totally valid. I assumed the Corrupt taken from savage Foes would fill this purpose, but the result was actually more frustration because they added to the whiff.Pender Lumkiss wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 1:15 pm Just a small suggestion based on some of the feedback, sometimes when having tanks, dragon, grouped with mortal men having like you are indicating a side long dramatic task that takes more skill than brawn can give those types of characters a moment to shine when confronting the big bad.
Will definitely try to learn from this for the future.
