5) Wow man, teach me teach. You GM with a style that is just plain awesome deep fried and surrounded by bacon, then covered in chocolate! Seriously entertaining and thrilling. Plus those videos just are fun!

3) You are on the 20 yard line man, or at least down by six with 30 seconds to go if you like basketball references. Keep learning, keep trying. We appreciate your paltry efforts but wish you could put in more effort.

2) Look this is a game about vampires, why are we not fighting vampires 24/7/365? Kreeghor, King Halloway, Anger worm WTF!? More vampires and less character background please. One more session and then you are gone and Rob takes over.

1) For peets sake, where is the mad rush into the vampire kingdom that we will never return from. What is this meandering bullshit that explores carefully concated character background and moral dilemma. Fuck your dilemmas and just run us against an endless horde of vampires on roll20. The next time we see an anger worm we quit! No more chances for you either. Rob take over. Please delete your youtube videos.

Q2 Rate your GM

Post by Pender Lumkiss »

GM Poll 2nd Quarter 2018
please vote sometime in the last part of March. Starting now is okay.

Pender, Game Master (GM)

How to “rate” the GM, their Duties:
• Post Rate
• Notify Players via Hangouts of new posts.
• Be available to Players

☞ Maintain a GM post rate at a minimum of one adventure post per week.
☞ Have the IM contact info of each player in their group.
☞ Notify all players in the group via IM or PM of new GM posts, and other important updates.
☞ Be available for IM chat at least one day a week.

Note: The above is used to “rate” the GM. I hope that I succeeded you all in the mission of being your GM. Additionally, I hope that I presented a fun game. I look forward to more story with the vampire kingdoms. Please, when you vote, post a response saying you voted. If you are up to it, I’m open to feedback BOTH on how I did as GM, and ALSO any feedback you have on the story. Especially if you have something in your backstory that you would find interesting to explore, please just call it out to me. With characters so complex and wild it is sometimes a challenge to get every characters backstory touched upon. Thank you. - Pender

  • 2D6 EFFECT
2 Catastrophe: Something goes terribly wrong. The GM must decide what, but some ideas are a new and permanent Minor Hindrance, the inability to use powers for several days, or an explosion of some sort. The backlash should be thematic if possible. If the hero tampers with dark forces for his abilities, for example, he might become corrupted or summon something sinister into the world. If he’s a weird scientist the device might explode for 3d6 damage in a Medium Blast Template, or he might develop a Quirk, Phobia, or other “madness.”

3 Backfire: The power succeeds as with a raise but affects a different target with the worst possible results. A bolt hits a random friend, boost Trait increases an enemy’s skill or attribute, etc. If there’s no likely target, he’s Stunned instead. If the power has a Duration other than Instant, it lasts its full term and can only be negated by dispel (the caster can’t voluntarily end it herself).

4–5 Short Circuit: The power fails but the Power Points allocated to it are spent, along with an additional 1d6 Power Points.

6–8 Stunned: The caster is Stunned (see page 106). She subtracts 2 from arcane skill rolls for the rest of the encounter (the penalty remains –2 even if she gets this result again).

9–10 Overload: The character’s synapses crackle and overload with power. He takes 2d6 damage plus the cost of the power in Power Points, including any Power Modifiers the player declared.

11 Fatigue: The character suffers Fatigue.

12 Overcharge: The power draws ambient energy from the air, automatically succeeding against the target with a raise and costing the caster no Power Points!

Voted late like a slack ass, but I gave you a five because you deserve it. Whatever twitches you may give me on canon and such, you have never failed to deliver a fun, amazing, and breathtaking game that is so epic it can't be compared to anything else. Everyone else can be big damn heroes, we get to be Legends.

Thanks. Because of you I actually read the books. If there are any glaring holes toss me the book and page number. My goal is to run the game in the rifts universe whilst weaving the story in and arround your characters.
Oh take 5 bennies for posts that include your hindrences in action.

Woohoo! Though at the rate *I* burn through them, they'll likely last like one or two GM posts lol.
