The King and queen where in short notice, but they put the word out and spared little expense to see to it that they could find the most appropriate and nicest of gifts to share with you as a way of showing their appreciation.
Here is how it works, you get a choice
Rob F Towell picks something he thinks is cool from the books (which may include books outside of the core book the game is limited to) and gives it to you.
You pick something of up to -4/-4 availability and value then add two minor enchantments. The object will be engraved with the royal crest of house Velthana of Almahrad.
Post your choice here as soon as possible. Then in the RP thread post a narrative description of what you received and how the queen assumed it to be of value to you after sending frank out to gather intelligence so that she could offer it to you personally.

Cloak of Sanctuary
Knowing the rangers who spend so long on the road are often stuck between cities an without the comforts of home Queen Anabel solicited this special cloak.
This magical cloak looks to be made of sturdy wool, well hemmed and cut, the color varies from greys to greens by angle and lighting, but in all angles the royal crest of House Velthana can be seen repeatedly along the hems.
When the wearer pulls the cloak off and incants a brief cantrip the the cloak expands and shapes itself to whatever basic shape the wearer desires as a tent from as small as a 5’ circle to as large as a Medium Burst Template.
The owner can enter the tent and allows others to come and go, while inside the room is maintained at 21 degrees (70F), with low humidity. Any attempt to breach the tent by someone other than the person who said the incantation must penetrate a barrier as hard as stone with a toughness of 10 per 1”.
Once activated the cloak has enough power to remain in effect for up to Spirit x2 hours before collapsing in on itself. Once the cloak collapses it requires 12 hours to recharge enough essense to be used again.

For your chain can we mechanically have it the same, but stylistically change it so it is not associated with the evil empire. I imagine it will cause trouble and trust issues with NPCs.
Same effect, basically going for the +2 Stealth.
I removed the limitation of only at night and in shadowy places.

This small wooden lantern is inscribed with subtle symbols and iconographs of the spirits of Shaintar. When lit it emanates a golden light that makes all within feel comfortable and at peace providing +1 to Spirit rolls.
However the holy light emanating from this lantern is harmful to creatures of darkness who must make a Fear -2 check to enter the area. In addition they can in no way physically touch the lantern (even while dormant) and each turn within the light of the lantern they must make a spirit roll or suffer 1d10 damage (one roll for all targets) that ignores all armor and enchantments.
The lantern can only be activated by a miracle worker, so while it has been in the inventory of the castle for many years. The house considers it a worthy gift.
