Savage Rifts.com is a play-by-post home for Rifts for Savage Worlds role playing game. We game with the material created by Pinnacle Entertainment Group, Palladium Books, and the Savage Worlds ruleset.

This is a quick guide to help new players go through the character creation process on SavageRifts.com. This will also go through the house rules and setting information.

SavageRifts.com grows and changes with both trial and error and user feedback. Hundreds of players have come and gone as the vagaries of life have dictated, but the players most interested in quality roleplaying have stuck around. So we will be benefiting from this experience. We encourage user feedback with rewards and incentives to continue the process of improving quality and promoting positive roleplaying experiences in the community. Implementation of new rules is done through user collaboration and a guided process of discussion and discovery. In the final analysis, SavageRifts.com will be the product of those in the community who devote their time and creative energies into it. If you want to be sure if SavageRifts.com is right for you please go through the site. Read adventure posts, peruse some completed character sheets, and check out the Out of Character (OOC) forum. Feel free to contact veteran players, Game Masters (GMs) with your questions.

Keeping Connected
Instant Messenger services are useful tools for the character creation process as the person reviewing your character will want to contact you frequently. We use our Discord server to connect with one another. The only alternative is to communicate through Private Messages which can be very time consuming and result in lengthy delays - and we want you playing as soon as possible!
