She was born with a golden spoon in her mouth to say the least. Grigori and Mikaela Rowan; both elves, her parents and co-CEOs of Leef, Ltd were nothing if not doting on their only child. Leef, Ltd once autonomous was brought in under MCT. They were allowed to keep their name and structure with the addition of MCT at the top of the hierarchy. Basic MCT rules trickled down. Well, more of a change now or be fired but it was still a choice right? Lindira was to be a golden child of the MCT, a diplomat, one who smoothed ruffled feathers and made sure everyone was happy living under the MCT even if nothing actually changed to make it better for them. The only real negative in her life growing up was she had a weak immune system and thus was sick a lot. However, because of it, she learned a lot more about the body and basic medicine than the average person. She also learned first aid pretty well to prevent infections of the sort her immune system just wouldn't handle well. Her parents insisted that she have hobbies as well to be a well rounded sort. Of all the things she tried, she enjoyed Singing and Gymnastics the most and those are the ones she stuck with long enough to be skilled in them. She also developed decently with other instruments but singing was definitely her preferred.

One night, while she was out hanging out with friends, something happened. She didn't know what caused it but MCT turned on her family fast. She was coming home when she saw men swarming the property. They dragged her parents out front. There was a conversation that she was too far to hear and then they both were shot once in the head each. She sat in her car in shock for a minute then a guy came out and shook his head. She'd seen enough Trid to know it was time to disappear if she wanted to live. She drove off and just drove for a while with her mind racing. After a while she had to stop as the vision of her parents getting shot made it impossible to see anything else. It wasn't real. It couldn't be real. It was totally real. She got out and threw up. She was just starting to recover from that when she heard a commotion nearby and then an explosion. She was close enough to see the flame. She hadn't realized where she was driving because of her shock but as the flying body of a man landed next to her, she realized that she was in gang territory. It took a moment to realize the man...almost kid really...was still alive, barely. He'd die before too long. "Heal him." She blinked and looked around. "Heal him" Confusion continued to make her look around more. "Who...?" "HEAL HIM" She shakily reached out and pulled out some of the shrapnel from his body, she started to get up as though to grab the medkit from her car but something pulled at her and she felt more than heard the urge to Heal him this time. All at once she felt power building in her and she pulled her necklace off (a talisman for health given to her on one of her birthdays by her best friend) and laid it down on the teen's chest and focused that power inside her toward the talisman and out into the man's body. The strength of that healing was such that even a few of the scars the guy had disappeared to new skin. He open his eyes to see her covered in his blood and pulling her talisman off of him and realized that she was why he was still alive. "Uh, thanks." He rubbed his hands on his pants distractedly. "What's a girl like you doin' here?" "I...I need to hide. I need a new place to live. I need to disappear. They killed my parents." Tears started to pour down her cheeks as it sunk in again all that had happened. The kid calmed her down enough to get a bit more detail from her. Enough for him to nod and say "I'll help you." It was through the kid's help that a new place was arranged for her to live with a fake ID and a secondary place set up in case the first was compromised. They used the money she'd had with her when she was out, her pocket change more than many see in a year. After she got set up and the kid Benny or Big Ben promised more help if she needed and gave her a way to contact him. Once he left her with the promise of having the sensors she wanted installed done the spirit that had pushed her to heal him introduced itself. A while after that there was a knock at her new door. She grabbed one of the new guns and held it behind her while she peeked out, relieved to see it wasn't a squad of MCT goons she opened the door a crack, though she still had the gun just in case. The man introduced himself as Caduceus. Through the contact of their spirit friends (mentors) he had been guided to her and began to teach her. Time passed and Big Ben also came and taught her guns and some self defense. Between the two she was pretty well set up. She hadn't been going out, the two bringing her everything she needed. Eventually she realized that she would need to hide herself if she wanted to ever leave again. She designed the mask and Benny got someone to make it for her combined with a gas mask and sensors, everything a young socialite could need to survive in the new and dangerous world she now found herself in.
