Raised in a relatively normal family Falderol always tried to rise above his 'disturbing' heritage. Just an average man trying to live an average life. That is until he ran into Amelia, literally. He was walking along doing a bit of window shopping and collided with her as she stepped around a corner. He was able to prevent her from falling though she did drop her packages. As he apologized he reached to recover her items. As their hands touched he looked at her for the first time. She was the most enchanting human he had ever met. Though plain by most standards there was something about her eyes that he simply could not look away from.

They exchanged a few pleasantries and both went on their separate ways. But Falderol could not get her off his mind. For the next several days he kept going to that same corner hoping to see her again. Almost a week passed and he still did not find her. One day, after spending most of it on the corner watching the people go by he turned to head home and, once again, ran into her. This time he was the one that off balance and fell to the ground. As he sat there she looked down and, with a slight frown, asked that is how he greeted all ladies. She let him stammer a bit before she could not hold back her laughter any longer.

From that moment on they were all but inseparable. As their relationship grew Falderol knew this was the woman he wanted to marry. A few months after that fateful collision he finally got up the nerve to propose. She said yes and though it was a modest ring she wore it proudly. Three days later he was contacted by the Guard. They did not tell him what happened but wanted him to help with an incident. When he saw Amelia's body his heart shattered. Not only had she been killed for her ring for some reason the assailant had stabbed her in her beautiful eyes. Not only was she taken from him but her mutilation destroyed his last opportunity to see those amazing eyes.

Now, he spends his days looking for anything that may cause someone else to lose a loved one. Be it creatures, monsters, or monstrous people Falderol has vowed to Pharasma that he will find those who need death and give it to them.
