Iconic Framework: MARS Combat Mage
Background
Jade was born in a small farming village on the edge of CS territory, enough they suffered raids from time to time. She lost her parents in one such raid and was taking care of herself afterwards. The other villages thought she was “spooky” or “cursed” and didn’t take her in. A wizard exiled from the Federation of Magic wandered into town and identified that “spooky” aura about her as a great gift for magic. He offered to teach her and she accepted, mastering her arcane gifts in just a few years as they wandered the southern half of the US, avoiding many enemies.
She found she had many magical talents, most notably a talent for destruction! She has a seemingly endless amount of blasting spells of all sizes and natures.

Recently, her mentor told her he had taught all she could learn from teaching, so now it was time to learn on her own path. She has a gift for storytelling and tries to spark the magic in people who listen to her tales of better worlds and better ways to live in this one.

Somewhat pale and slender human female in her late teens with short black hear, wearing the ornate armor of a Techno-Wizard and carrying a staff with a C-shaped head carved with mystic runes.

He can also sense any nearby Rifts within 10 miles, as well as the arcane tremors created by the eruption of new or recurring Rifts within 50 miles.
One With Magic - Ley Line Rejuvenation: While on a ley line, gains a natural healing roll once per day.

Combat Mage Edges: Channeling and Master of Magic Edges. Also begins with three Combat or Power Edges of your choice, ignoring Rank. Master Blaster
MARS Advance: Combat Mages begin as Seasoned heroes.
Spellslinger: ["Bolt"] (Hero's Journey): Spellslinger:Choose one power your hero knows; if she casts it successfully, she automatically gains the raise effect.
